I went to UNILAG today, they told me School fees for PGD In Education is 450k(total amount to be paid) pls is it true?

It's actually N416,000 (Total) for Partime.

I went to Unilag PGDE Departmental Office located at the Faculty of Education to confirm today.

Unilag is not smiling this year o.

Is it possible to combine work and schooling together.? Also i stay far away from school currently.

I checked a Department's M.Sc (Fulltime) Class Timetable of last year and this was their class schedule

Monday - Friday (8am -10am, 10am-12noon, 12noon-2pm, 2pm-4pm, 4pm-6pm).

I saw the timetable and fear catch me for them.

Maybe with 1 or 2 hrs free time on some days.

Though, u can go to your Department and make more enquires.

I suppose that is the reason they did not conduct entrance exam. They probably anticipated people will withdraw because of the fees. It is outrageous.

Exactly......they are very stupid. How can I pay 415k for a certificate that won't guarantee me a job. Part time MBA is 550k. My elder brother's friend has the money but he said he won't pay. I told him he shouldn't. Unilag had the guts to put 40k has utility bill. Are we living in the school?. We would pay school fees of over 510k and you still want us to pay nepa Bill of 40k. They must be mad.
I have left them to their rubbish. I will go to NOUN to further my career. "THEY ARE MULTIPLE WAYS OF ENTERING THE MARKET"

Sooner than later, people will stop going to school. They will just reply on their talent and skill for survival. Not everybody has 415,000 to pay for a degree that is not marketable. People who go ahead with the programme would be doing so because they need the certificate to join a particular organisation or body not because they need it get a job.

When you finish your programe and do not collect your certificate immediately, You will pay demurrage fee. This demurrage fee increases by #5000 every year. So someone who finished 5years ago will have to pay a demurrage fee of 5*#5000= 25000. When i heard it I was just furious.
