It was under tinubu that house to house armed robbery started and I had to leave Lagos before Gani Adams formed OPC that drastically curtailed crime in Lagos, something tinubu couldn’t do. Most of the roads in Lagos was already constructed before tinubu starting from oil boom during Gowon, Obasanjo, Shagari, Idiagbon and IBB and the governors. Tinubu did practically nothing as governor except repairs.

Obi started from scratch while Tinubu inherited an already built state. Only the allocation tinubu Lagos state received under Tinubu first six months covered all the allocation Obi received in 8 years but he made judicial use of it and left the state with zero debt and billions of naira in cash but Tinubu left almost a billion dollars for fashola in debt with nothing much to show for it. The only area Tinubu is better than Obi is he had far better predecessors than Obi and had an Iron like grip on them unlike Obi whose predecessors were total disasters and Obi had no control over them even when he blew all the money he left on parties Obi still maintained he doesn’t believe in godfatherism

Most of the bridges, roads, government buildings for federal agencies, FESTAC town, Satellite town, 1,004 flats buildings etc was built by previous military presidents from Nigerian oil boom monies ( ask your parents they might tell you the truth) because dodan barracks was like the aso rock until 1991. Inspite of no oil boom now, travel to Abuja and see the massive trillions FG is spending there and ask yourself why no other state is being spent on like that. It’s because Abuja is the Federal Capital of Nigeria, just like Lagos was. When IBB left Olagunsoye Oyinlola as Military Administrator started Operation Sweep. Marwa took over and by the time he left power in 1999, Lagos had become the most secured city in Africa with investors coming in from all over Nigeria and Africa starting companies. Tinubu took over in 1999 and by 2021 a lot of people ran away. All those criminals that were chase away became agberos and there was no law and order. They were the bus stops all over Lagos and were either generating taxes for tinubu or robbing people day and night. Tinubu was more concerned with his fights with Bucknor Akerele and other politicians than the masses just like today. Obi even built the major campus of Anambra state University and the teaching hospital so that one is a no brainer. Anambra was created in 1991 from Enugu but political god fathers almost ruined the state to the extent that it compared to Gombe and other states. Awka the state capital as at 2003 had only 4 hotels and land was dirt cheap. Development of the state started under Ngige who did a marvelous work in road construction but only stayed 34 months in power . Obi continued from there and into other sectors. Today the best governors in the history of Anambra state remains Ngige and Obi . Obiano is a total failure, partied everyday , ruined everything.. nobody counts him. Imagine receiving more than 200bn in naira value then , blowing it and blaming same predecessor Obiano is worse than Aregbeshola. Don’t mention him here please. That brewery park was less than 5% of what he built . He completed Orient refinery to 98% which made Anambra an Oil producing state. Built gigantic secretariats in the 21 LGAs of the state, built roads that connected the 177 communities in the state. The benefits today? Non that I see for his mumu predecessors except that Peter Obi roads that connected all 177 communities in the state now makes it easier for criminals to escape from every angle in state because Obi predecessors are normal brain dead politicians who knows nothing about running a society. Extra judicial killings? They were done by police and governors have limited control over them. Has discovery of those bodies stopped SARS from killing innocent young men extra judicially and disposing their bodies? Did end SARS stop the killings . No Governor can stop the extra judicial killing except the IG who is controlled and appointed by the president so that complaint should have been rightly directed to Tinubu. How many roads were built by former military administrators in Lagos state. You are obviously naive about Lagos State's growth and development. Most of the roads built by these military administrators were substandard and of poor quality, and as a result, they have been demolished. If you can show me any road built by Marwa, Olagunsoye, Mudashiru, or Mobolaji Johnson that is still in use today.... Even high-rise buildings built by colonial masters in parts of Lagos and Victoria Island have been demolished due to structural weaknesses. How many houses, roads, or buildings were built 20 years ago when the FCT was relocated to Abuja and are still standing today?

You also mentioned Festac Estate and the 1400 building as part of the inherited development in Lagos state.I laughed because you should know that there are federal government investment properties that generate a lot of money for the federal government, not Lagos state. There are individuals, corporations, and direct foreign national investment in Lagos state, and I believe that each state has the same capacity to attract local and foreign investors.


Because you are upset about Tinubu's development in Lagos State and how he has strategically restructured governance in Lagos State, all I saw were your biased comments. If you believe Tinubu is a criminal, prepare your allegations and substantive evidence, hire a competent lawyer, and approach a competent court to file your application, rather than turning yourself into a key-warrior on the Nairaland platform. You are old enough to understand the difference between objective criticism and propaganda.


You have made Simeon Ekpa and Nnmadii KANU your demi-gods in the southeast, and you expect progress.in the region...IPOB terrorists who were supposed to be chased have become heroes in your land, and you are expecting development.
Here's the thing: as long as your people's motives for Nigeria are wrong, you will never attract development to your region.... Your region's economy is in shambles, and your region's value and heritage are gradually dwindling as a result of your people's incorrect perception of other majority and minority ethnic groups in Nigeria.

You and your people should prioritize what will benefit your region. Rather than spewing your propaganda on some of these social media platforms...
