..this was a governor that went to a church during the 2023 governorship election campaign to do usher work and plead for support and votes from the church members to vote for him...now the same governor maltreating Lagos people and treating them bad .it's a pity

There is one in my former area , the landlord has been compensated still them no move , many sold the land to another person wey no sabi as e dey . Those ones to no do their due diligence them buy am cus e cheap ... I have a friend expanding into three shops in one of the big complex built along that same road ... I told him anytime anything can happen he should just start planning, he said he heard about it before but he did not believe, i was like you see yourself. We have like 5 properties in that area we purposely did not buy any by the roadside . He said he noticed too. I told i sha don tell you now ... If them come tomorrow start bringing down buildings no come my dm start dey cry ooo . Nigerians wey sabi emotional blackmail. You think the government will just do things anyhow bah , sha dey play

Only a court with proper legal authority has the power to remove individuals from their homes irrespective of how the government or anyone feels about it. If the government suspects that the land is being occupied unlawfully, the correct course of action is to seek a court's ruling or order on the matter.....this will afford the occupants the opportunity to have a say and guarantee their
fundamental right to a fair hearing.
The right to a private life and right to acquire and own immovable property are fundamental rights as enshrined in our constitution. A law abiding government will think twice before infringing on these rights. It's a shame that we live in a lawless society where the government has become the chief rascal and outlaw

So the same thing does not happen in those states you mentioned!
