Waste 5 more years, it is your life

I've always been a bright kid from my childhood. But since I turned 16, I gave into vices, stealing, fighting, alcoholism and different sexual acts.

I wasted my years. I could have learned online skills or even real life skills.

I just started learning digital marketing. How can I make up for all this lost time??

Just why me!!

Determination is the key, now that you have realised your mistakes, it's now left for you to be determined and focus in life

You still have good chances of meeting up, but you must discipline yourself to achieve whatever you desire

Because while they are busy writing test and exams set by ignorant people, you are busy creating something that will be useful to the society than just presenting a piece of paper that won't serve you..

I was very close to my 30s before I started to figure shit out for real infact let me very honest with you even at age 60 most of us haven't even figured out life yet or what to do..

In summary we learn about life and experiences as we go along. One thing you should have in mind is you are even lucky you are able to see and feel the off balance in your life this shows you vibrate at a high frequency but you haven't yet found the band for flow with.

All I will advice you is wakeup everyday and set your goal and put a minimum of 1hr daily learning new skills.

Now I won't say digital marketing is a bad idea but just think with me for a second AI is taking over the marketing industry and it's all well automated and I have been to many seminars and I can tell you this in 5 years time, digital marketing skills is a bye bye.(My opinion)

I stared learning more about cinimatography and 3D modelling and game design. Soon I hope to create magic with these take a look at it from this perspective we have all kind of games made from all part of the world stores of legend stories of other countries epic games for that matter but I haven't heard of a game like any game made about nigeria or africa infact our movie industry is lacking so that's where i will be coming in soon.

All you need is study hard real good what alligngs with your area of specialty and make something epic and marketable that 80% of individual appreciate and you golden.

The best part is, you can choose to start with the free courses like myself and other people did at first to gain first hand knowledge of who your area of specialty you interested in.
And in most cases you even get free training resources you can get for free as well unlike YouTube where you have to support their channel before you find some resources to go along
And then when you feel like you want to go to the top tier of professionalism, then you can opt for paid courses to dance to the professional level.

Honestly I don't really know how to put this to you but I will try so much as possible.

What is it you think you like doing, and you have passion for, then try and find a way to make it a product and marketable trust me you will go far.
For me I always love making movies and films in my little mind growing up I directed movies with broom sticks yeah...
I love films and games and that's where I think I shine and there where I belong.
And right now I am working towards just that. And other business ideas related.

The no 1 step to making an effective change in one's life is to admit that you made mistakes over the years and that, you have done so, its easier to change.

Now to gaining back lost years, i'll be very straight forward with you: you can't!

What you should focus on is doing what you shoulda done over the years ....

Be very strategic in all that you do ...

You're even lucky to have made the changes at 27!

To people like us who were subjected to serious emotional and physical abuse as how boys, weren't so lucky!

Find out what you wish to do, or get a mentor who won't just force his wishes on u but will help u navigate your way faster and start now!

I'll advise u get this sam adeyemi's book titled: Start with what you have from where you are.... Get the paper back so u can be serious!

As regards digital skills, pls, learn as many as u can but learn one thing, after you've mastered like 70% upwards, then add some other skills to it!

Gone are the days u just know 1 thing and its ok ... the state of the economy doesn't really favour that again!

Life is not always like that for everyone. Yes, at 27, you should be on track towards a career path, but that does not mean that from 27, you cannot create a path an perfect it before 30.
One of my village brothers traveled to overseas in 2009 and returned back in 2012 or so empty handed and he was around 33 years when he returned. This guy started a small pop corn business there in the village and gradually, the business grew so well that he migrated to beer parlor and today, he has built a mini guest house and his beer parlor is the hottest in my village at the moment.
No time is late.
Myself, I got admission at the age of 23, was meant to finish at 27, but had an extra year and COVID 19 added another extra year making it two years.
Departmental accreditation made us wait another two years until 2022 before we could do clearance and I just finished nysc two months ago.
And, yes, people do write jamb at 27 and even 30 and above and still make it big afterwards. It is all about discovering your purpose.

It's your decision. Live with it.
I stead of just why you, why not start by disassociating yourself from your group of friends.

Uour friends define you. If anybody around you don't bring good positive vibe around you, leave and move on. As you strive to do good,good and quality productive people will magnet towards you
