This is a warning sign
A very bad omen
Osimhen needs to get advice from forwards with long careers
He’s not doing something they did
He’s injury prone, even Van Persie wasn’t getting injured this regularly
Something needs to change in his camp, his style of play & recovery procedures so that he can have a long & successful career
Clubs may not want to go after him because of injuries
Even Halaand doesn’t have Osimhen’s work rate I believe, because one is surrounded with world class team mates
Not talking about goals/output though

2024 Nairaland Nigeria Football Fans Award

Update

Gents,

The next step now is to select members of the nomination committee.
The committee will be responsible for selecting the the awards categories as well as nominees for each category.

Traditionally, selecting of members of the nomination committee was done through voting. I personally like that method because it ensure that all members of the thread have the chance to select the most passionate and knowledgeable monikers to nominate players for the award.
However, every year, there's always this problem of those who are voted to be part of the committee not being active... Last year, almost 80% of monikers that were voted to be part of the committee quit... Others were either inactive or unavailable.
I understand that we all have our lives to live and work stuffs won't allow some of us participate actively.
On this note, I've decided that this year, the nomination committee will be made up of members who Volunteer to join.. that way, we can be ensured of some level of commitment.

Here's how it will be done: If you're interested in being a member of the committee, quote this post with one word "Interested". Other members of the thread will give credence to your nomination by liking the post.
The top 8 monikers with the most likes and shares will make up the nomination committee alongside I and icon4s who, by default is a honourary member of the committee, being the founder of this award.

Voting closes on Monday December 16th 2024 at 6pm Nigeria time

Thank you

CC: Icon4s, semid4lyfe

PS: if anyone has an objection to the chosen method of selecting committee members, do not hesitate to let me know...maybe we can work out another method

Onana dey here but no Stanley Nwabali? 😂

CAF dey mad. What did Onana do last season that guaranteed him a spot here apart from celebrating 50 goals conceded last year and conceding goals at the AFCON that kept him seated tight to the bench?

Even Onana go shock when he see that list. 😕

Still not enough, if there'd be any Moroccan on the top 3 seff, it should definitely be Soufiane Rahimi who actually powered the team to winning the bronze medal, became the first player in Olympics history to score in every single match from group stage till the last game, won the golden boot, scored a hat-trick against Al-Hilal to win the Asian Champions League, won the golden boot and also won the golden boot in the UAE league... 🤷🏾‍♂️

None of them can stop Ademola Lookman.

The politics has been done in Morocco. Winners have already been decided. All these your talk na medicine after death

But why must Morocco host every CAF thing on this continent?
