It shows that not everyone in today's church is ignorant that the teaching against women speaking in the church is not only erroneous but antichrist!

I don't know who the woman is but if she was truly chosen by God, to hell with the opinion of men, including so-called Christians.

When it comes to choosing men or women for His work, God never consults with any man, not even His prophets or apostles.

He chooses whomever He wills so it's up to His servants to either accept that fact or be left out of what God is doing.

God bless.
Be careful with ya utterances lest you make same mistake as those you dey condemn.

The more reason why you should know that it is more than being known. God can ask you to leave that which you are excelling at to take up another task where fewer people will reckon with you, all for His glory.
So she'll stop singing?

History lessons.
Exactly,
It's also worth noting,
While many assumed she must have been an Apostle, evidence suggests she wasn't.
Yes she became a saint according to Catholic faith, but that doesn't mean she was an apostle. Holy Mary mother of Jesus was also sainted, Mother Theresa, and several others have been sainted, but they're not ordained as apostles.

To be an ordained Apostle, u must be ordained by other serving apostles.
That's why Paul himself had to go to Peter and the others in Jerusalem to receive the right hand of fellowship, before his ministry was recognized. He was called an apostle to the gentiles, and Peter apostle to the Jews.
because no one else was ordained an Apostle apart from the 12 Jesus chose himself, and Mathias who replaced Judas Iscariot.

Barnabas, silas, Aquila and Priscila, Tychicus, Aristochus, Epiphanes, Lydia, Lois, Timothy... All were excellent Patriarchs of the gospel, they gave their lives for the gospel,
They supported the ministry greatly, but they were never ordained Apostles.

Only a prophet can ordain a prophet, only a Pastor can ordain a pastor, only an Apostle can ordain an apostle.

because ordination is a transfer of grace, and u can't give what u don't have.
So this matter with Orenze, is just for d show, there's no spiritual relevance.

So Paul and the early church fathers like Origen were wrong to consider Junia as an apostle?

Should she stop singing? I hope you know that her songs are different and it has become less frequent these days. It all depends on her and what direction she gets from God.

Like I said, she wasn't considered an apostle, that verse was misinterpreted by those who said so...
Read the verse in other versions to understand it...

Rom.16.7 Hello to my cousins Andronicus and Junias. We once shared a jail cell. They were believers in Christ before I was. Both of them are outstanding leaders. (MSB)

Rom.16.7 Remember me to Andronicus and Junias, my tribal kinsmen and once my fellow prisoners. They are men held in high esteem among the apostles, who also were in Christ before I was. (AMP)

Rom.16.7 Greet Andronicus and Junias, my relatives who have been in prison with me. They are outstanding among the apostles, and they were in Christ before I was. (NIV)

Rom.16.7 Greet Andronicus and Junia, my countrymen and my fellow prisoners, who are of note among the apostles, who also were in Christ before me. (NKJV)

Clearly they were both respected early Christians among the apostles... But that doesn't make them apostles, they were close friends to the Apostles.

Like I said, being ordained an Apostle wasn't even open to non-Jews until Jesus appeared specially to Paul, and gave witness through him...

Do u remember Act 10 when Peter had his vision, that was how the gospel was opened to the gentiles and Paul was consecrated and ordained an apostle to the gentile nations... They gave him right hand of fellowship...
Origen, Jerome and the others were commentators of bible events, not eye witnesses... Their references was purely based on king James version of the bible.

In d days of Apostle Paul, long before origen and Jerome era, u can't be ordained an Apostle anywhere else except in Jerusalem,
And as at then, women were not even allowed in d office of deacons, like u had Philip and Stephen...
So understand this history pls, those who assume a woman was called an apostle are simply misinterpreting that bible verse... If a woman was ordained an apostle, it would have been a well documented event, we would even read her own epistle, like the other apostles...
All apostles have the privilege to write contributions to the doctrine of Christianity...
So where is d book of junias?

Ok, so an early church father like Origen also misunderstood the verse and the historical account of the church that occurred few decades prior to when he lived? Nice!

So who was Mary Magdalene.
His wife?

His side chic?

His baby mama?

The washer of his feet with perfume?
Still wallowing in your ignorance of the word of God. Was Mary Magdalen an Apostle of Jesus Christ? It's obvious you don't know who is an apostle and the Apostolic roles in the body of CHRIST

His ressurector from the grave?

Origen and Josephus don't qualify to be called early fathers of the church... They were never in d ministry ordained ministers, not as apostles, prophets, pastors, evangelists, or teachers...
U can't call them fathers of the church...
They never headed any church or won souls for Christ.
They never preached the gospel, they didn't have any interaction with the early church directly.

They were simply scholars, historians, philosophers and commentators on world religions and events. ...

They had no authority as far as Christianity is concerned.

Their writings are used as evidence of the events during bible times so they're referenced in theological studies, but pls,
Don't insult Christianity by calling philosophers fathers of d early church.

🥱 a quick refresher on church history.

I’m wondering how Josephus entered this church father discussion.
