IMAliyu2:Who would have thought.. Trump was lying to his uneducated followers (cc raumdeuter) about lowering groceries. They voted for a racist conman to reduce grocery prices and he was even lying about that. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uqa7xVMv2l8 |

IMAliyu2: IjeBos:They’ll just shift goalposts. Everything is great as long as king Trump does it. If you don’t agree, you don’t love America 😩 He caused the first inflation and Biden has all but dug us out of it. Now we’ll be back to square zero with Trump in charge. They’ll pay 3x what they’re paying for eggs now and they won’t remember that they voted “for the economy”. Dealing with insincerity is so draining. Ugh. |

cococandy:CNN went to South Dakota and interviewed a Farmer who is a Trump supporter and who said if Trump goes through with his plans of rounding up immigrants, they will run out of food in two days. As in how do People vote, for a candidate who says he has policies of things he would do that will affect your business now youre noe hoping he doesnt do the things he says he would do Foolishness Pro Max isnt it? |

Omg I watched that episode too. Basically the question was “so you voted Trump with hopes that he doesn’t do the things he promised to do?” And the man straight up answered yes. But who are we to intervene in this their canon event? At least they’ll get to own the libs. That’s far more important ![]() happney65: |

bemeruca: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yz5LOix4pz4?si=c-CoqZ4YSBPsXFHG A truly harrowing tale. This is one of many, many instances all over Western countries. If a man can be accused and sent to jail by a woman he never met, you can imagine what happens in intimate relationships and at work. Good Luck to Nigeria. |

IbeOkehie:Its why I am asking budaatum and his entourage of feminists AmazonTopaz, cococandy and Magnoliaa what is the purpose of the feminists movement today if it is not about hatred for me. Child custody, women are favoured, Child care, men are forced to pay, Women get lenient sentence for the same crime than men. |

cococandy:It's VERY REASONABLE to assume that Mr Trump will not do all he promised or threatened to do. For one thing, the USA system is full of checks and balances, so no promise is guaranteed. Anyone can check on President Obama's major, repeated 2008 campaign promise to close the Guantanamo Bay Prison. The prison is still open and operational. The list of unfulfilled campaign promises is endless. I have a few friends and family, including an Arab Muslim immigrant man and a Black American woman, who explicitly voted for Trump on that basis. The Muslim immigrant believed and still insists there will be no mass deportation beyond criminals aliens. Mr Trump has already signaled in the recent full length CBS interview that he will not deport the Dreamers and will "work with Congress to do something for them to stay." I believe I got the quote right. The Muslim immigrant voted for Trump because of all the transgender extremism on the Democrat side. The Black American woman told me she couldn't vote for Ms Harris because the main Democrat campaign issue was abortion. It was very surprising to me. She also doesn't think Trump will do anything to hamper abortion access. This woman believes abortion is a continuing campaign to destroy Black Americans. She has a point because the main abortion organization Planned Parenthood was founded by a woman for the EXPLICIT purpose of wiping out Negroes in the USA. The demographics of abortion seem to prove the point. Some states keep abortion stats classified by race. The lopsidedness of the numbers is shocking 😲 https://www.google.com/search?q=planned+parenthood+on+sanger+founder&oq=planned+parenthood+on+sanger+founder&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUyBggAEEUYOTIHCAEQIRigATIHCAIQIRigATIHCAMQIRigATIHCAQQIRigATIHCAUQIRiPAtIBCTE2NjQ0ajBqN6gCFLACAQ&client=ms-android-samsung-gn-rev1&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8 It's amazing that liberals can support such an organization and insist it continue to get federal funding. I know some will surmise that I'm anti-abortion rights. I just don't care either way. 🤷 It's illegal in Nigeria and it still happens, long ago it was illegal in the USA and yet it still happened. It happens today in every countrywhere it's illegal. Nothing can stop abortions. There's something weird though about how some people are so radically insistent on making abortions a normal, easy thing to do. So yes, some Trump voters have flexible and REASONABLE expectations of the incoming President. There's nothing strange in that. Good Luck to Nigerians. |

bemeruca:Men get the same privileges in Nigeria. This is a real driver of resentment among immigrant Nigerian women. They see the West as a chance for vengeance. Very understandable. And then there's Saudi Arabia and all those conservative Islamic nations. This life na wa. Humans are just bad. Beware of humans. Everyone should do all they can to defend themselves and preserve their freedom. Good Luck to Nigeria. |

Imagine admitting that you voted for someone knowing they lied about their policies or at best didn’t really mean what they said. Is he a man of his words or is he not? IT IS COMMON SENSE to know that if someone promises contradictory things to multiple groups of people, he’s either an idiot or he thinks you’re idiots. Now you’re okay with more expensive groceries? Didn’t Americans “voTe fOr the ecOnomY”?🙄 You know it’s not us you’re trying to convince. You’re trying to convince yourself and it’s funny to watch. You still have a few more years of goal shifting and justifying to do. Next week (or maybe tomorrow) you’ll be here again to defend Trump on another reneged promise or astonishing lie. He told over 30 thousand lies in his first administration. Y’all got your work cut out for you it won’t be an easy four years .PS: Planned parenthood in addition to abortions provides millions of birth control, sex education, STI screening and cancer screening each year. But I know you don’t care about facts. So don’t even bother. IbeOkehie: |

Maeve7:Nothing he does will be in their favor. He promised them he’ll eliminate the department of education and they cheered for him. No further thought down the road about how this elimination will affect their title 1 schools which are mostly funded by federal money for lower income families and children with disabilities/IEPs. Most of his voters are poor. So definitely will be affected by this. Some of their title 1 schools will have to merge or close for lack of funds. They think they’ll be able to get into private schools with vouchers. I have such bad news for them. It’s not even funny. |

cococandy:Cool down Ma'am. Haba no be fight. 1) Closing Guantanamo Bay Prison was a MAJOR campaign promise from President Obama in the 2008 campaign for his first term. He's a lawyer and knew it couldn't be closed. Well Guantanamo Bay Prison is still open and operational. https://www.google.com/search?client=ms-android-samsung-gn-rev1&sca_esv=87ab822241439fb3&sxsrf=ADLYWIIq8ft2eixocNv1Mp_Vw6Mvyizp8A:1734092915611&q=obama+promises+to+close+guantanamo&source=lnms&fbs=AEQNm0Aa4sjWe7Rqy32pFwRj0UkWtG_mNb-HwafvV8cKK_h1a0WYAF4mXQP8CuyQXqW6TNxu33IfIxH7NwnQR9rk5Rof0T7YPvS2QT9inz3OPGD-zkbPc_otHmADkabzRR-hh08FIDXRPgnmgqr9Sz_bDbvNoTdH-YYMj748F4OQ5u31ZrzGX9wjohO45g33C7PvlkiUTtA9hNOoCy8JE8G0kUqD01d1VQ&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjBh_jB36SKAxU6LtAFHUprJmQQ0pQJegQIGxAB&biw=360&bih=646&dpr=3 2) I'm completely neutral on abortion. The fact is that Planned Parenthood was founded by Margaret Sanger as an organization to wipe out Black Americans. It's right there on the Planned Parenthood website. Judging by the shockingly lopsided racial stats on abortion, the mission is on course. cococandy:The Department of Education was founded in 1979. The USA was doing just fine without it. It was another inflationary and regulatory expansion of government. The Federal Ministry of Education in Nigeria should also be abolished. The States or even counties should handle education. Government funded education in general but especially at the national level, has done more harm than good. Good Luck to Nigerians. |

IbeOkehie:I’m very cool and calm. I don’t know why you think otherwise. Wait now you care about institutional bias and racism? Your flip flopping is exhausting. The Department of Education was founded in 1979. The USA was doing just fine without it. It was another inflationary and regulatory expansion of government.Tell that to the poor families whose school districts and IEPs are going to be completely bankrupted when it’s eliminated. Just because it wasn’t formed until around 50 years ago doesn’t mean it’s not good for the beneficiaries now. From the look of things, poor counties in red states and their high illiteracy rate could use even more help. |

Supreme Court has ruled that the Executive Branch has COMPLETE and unfettered discretion over immigration into the USA. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJClOkn92VA?si=WYVaMONJPNEEBjEI The people who brought this case have forced a legal clarification that will make it easier for President Trump to enforce immigration laws according to his political agenda. Many people don't understand that Immigration Judges are not REAL judges. They are part of the Executive, NOT the judiciary. Naturalized citizenship is revocable if it is proven it was obtained by lying, deception or other improper means. The immigration officer at the airport has COMPLETE DISCRETION over aliens trying to enter the USA, even the issued visa is NOT a guarantee of entry. This makes it a little more likely the Trump Administration will take the 14th Amendment to the Supreme Court for clarification. Good Luck to Nigerians. |

cococandy:Someone told me days back that the people who voted for him, some of them know that he is a liar and are calling bluff the things that he said he would do because they don't think he will go through with them because he usually lies. The person then further said that they are not that smart because if they knew Trump very well, despite him being a pathological liar if there is one thing he doesn't lie about it's his policies. This is in part why some Latinos voted for him too because they don't think he would go through with it. ![]() Then I remembered the stupid policies he tried to implement during his first term but was restrained then. Then it made sense, the people who restrained him during his first term are no more. So the idea that voters didn't know what they were voting for is a big lie, they knew what they voted for and by the grace of God, Insha Allah they will get it in full. |

IbeOkehie:raumdeuter - over to you. it seems you guys are actually high on your own kool aid and actually believe your own rhetoric govt funded education at the national level has done more harm than good ? wetin pesin no go hear 90% of state universities in nigeria churn out functional illiterates whose degrees are not worth the paper they are printed on. state run secondary schools were already shit in the 80s education in the north for instance is nothing but a charade propped up by youth corpers . but we have a bonafide nigerian who likely passed through a federal university - condemning federal funded education and calling for its scrapping because he is swallowing rhetoric from trust fund billionaires |
| Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is The 47th President! by IbeOkehie: 3:29pm On Dec 13, 2024 |
GloriousGbola:I attended a Federal Government College for secondary education. Like every other thing run by government, the Federal secondary school system has been severely run down by corruption, inefficiency and all the other things that come with government in any country. Federal education bureaucracy is wasteful and counterproductive everywhere but especially in countries like Nigeria. Federal University graduates in Nigeria aren't too bright either, they're vastly ignorant. That Nigeria is the Poverty Capital of the World is enough proof. The standards have deteriorated and it's all part of the effect of Federal subsidies. Who knows how many federal female university grads in Nigeria paid for their admission with sexual intercourse? Even in the great Unilag....there's video evidence on the internet that makes it clear it's at least a significant percentage. It's the same at National Government Universities all over Black Africa. In contrast there's not a single case or complaint of private university students paying any kind of bribe to get admission. Not one, let someone show a story or cite a source and prove the statement is wrong. As for the USA, the student loan crisis is enough reason to dismantle Federal Dept of Education. ![]() Good Luck to Nigeria. |

Biden is an assholl. He is auctioning off border materials so that Trump has to start from zero Videos obtained exclusively by The Daily Wire from a U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agent show unused sections of the wall being hauled away on the back of flatbed trucks from a section of the border just south of Tucson, a hotspot for illegal crossings during the Biden administration. The agent estimates that up to half a mile per day of unused border wall is being moved. “They are taking it from three stations: Nogales, Tucson, and Three Points,” the border patrol agent, who was granted anonymity to speak freely, told The Daily Wire. “The goal is to move all of it off the border before Christmas.” Update. Texas has offered to buy off all the material. What a pathetic loser. He is causing trouble all over Ukraine and Syria. Chris Wray FBI Director resigned after entrenching his bureaucrats and promoting them. Democrats are just horrible people

IbeOkehie: The Federal Ministry of Education in Nigeria should also be abolished.this is what you said if you want to claim that federal run education is bad - what do you think happens at the state level? in spite of all the issues with federal universities - they have churned out multiple generations of capable graduates several of whom your self included are now doing well in nigeria and the abroad. but here you are giving a blanket condemnation of federal funded education and your solution is to scrap federal education completely for private run universities? would YOU have gotten tertiary education if someone had taken this measure in your time? do you even have any idea how much most private universities fees cost? or maybe you are going for world where only the children of the rich have opportunities and everyone else is a serf |
