As to why she was arrested, the police could not be reached for comments. Ben Hundeyin, the spokesperson for the Lagos police, did not answer his calls on Friday afternoon and has not responded to the messages sent to him via SMS and WhatsApp.

However, there are speculations that Thomas may have been arrested in connection to some of her social media posts criticising the Nigeria Police Force (NPF).

Not at all. As we petition the police to arrest those who slander us and malign our reputation is the same way police can arrest those who do same to them. No need for sentiments. This happens worldwide and not Nigeria alone so let us stop the victim mentality.

She could have made things up injurious to the reputation of the NPF. Like DJ witch Switch who claimed she picked up a dead body. And dropped it at the feet of soldiers at lekki tollgate during #EndSARS protest. A blatant lie.

You are deliberately avoiding my point of argument. Respect your laws untill it is repealed. You obey Dubai Law. obey Nigeria's laws simple. You want to behave the way you like yet complains that the country is not in order.
