Under Nigerian law, there is freedom of speech. As for those who feel defamed, there are processes to take. So whats the issue?

Just petition the police to arrest and prosecute lawless agents of defamation who have simply gotten away with it for far too long like Farotimi.

He was bragging, when he felt untouchable, that he has wet dreams thinking about been sued for libel and defamation. Now he has gotten his wish. Hope he is still having those wet dreams in detention lol.

Not at all. As we petition the police to arrest those who slander us and malign our reputation is the same way police can arrest those who do same to them. No need for sentiments. This happens worldwide and not Nigeria alone so let us stop the victim mentality.

Yesterday on CNN news night a guest said trump lied, if it was in Nigeria, police would burst into the studio and arrest efribody! Including me watching it.

The common denominator in intellectual arguments is none other than CONTEXT! If you wanrt to argue about economy and progress do so but don't lump justice especially social justice into it! You don't go to North Korea and shout freedom of speech but in the USA it is allowed, different system different expectations, I shouldn't have to EXPLAIN this to you!
