And who cares?

So the government should not develop Nigeria because of some people who got a land without proper documentations

Cheap blackmailing that can't work
Talking about documentation, which document did your president used to gain admission into CSU?

That's how you lots were all over the place yapping "This government will favour me". Come and say it again let's see. Rubbish!

There was no proper documentation of the land since it was a gift to develop Abuja at the time.

I remember, some people were being begged to come and live in Abuja or work because no one was interested going there so those who moved there then enjoyed it.
Now if a government now gift you a piece of land, does it mean it's no more yours? Govt admitted that the land was given to the late colonel. So even if proper documentation were not done right, does it mean it cannot be corrected? Did the government said the land itself was illegally owned or possessed? Laws relating to land do changed over time

You can't just be wailing for no sensible reason. How can government embark on new projects without demolition? Do those people have proper documentations for their lands?

You can't just be opposing any government moves
So throughout 40 years plus the government didn't bother that there was no proper documentation?
Which kind of yeye documentations are u talking about? Why not give them grace period or extended period pf time with court notice to do the needful?

Mau God no punish una

This Wike is biting more than he can chew. He has forgotten that power is transient. He won’t be there forever.
He'll leave power and NOTHING will happen to him from Nigerian masses except his political opponents that he may have stepped on their toes.

Nigerian masses are too docile and ineffective to cause any change or whatever that "he won't be there forever " imply .... It's just talk.

did you even read that the land was giving to them by the Nigerian govt? What do you guys even mean by developing a place? You just wake-up, destroy peoples' building and call it devt.

So there are no forests in Abuja govt can develop, if they so seek to develop places?

I have watched all the interviews. There are several pertinent questions here. First, why revoke a land without sufficient notice and worse still, immediately sell that same land to your crony Chinda, without following due process? This shows there's something fishy and corrupt going on.
Secondly, even if you were to revoke the land and resell it, the family who had owned and lived in it should have had the right of first refusal for equity and fairness. They should have first been offered the option of renewing whatever is lacking or buying back the land first before anyone else.
Thirdly, Why hurriedly dash the land Under shady circumstances to a party who is obviously your boy.
Fourth, on the issue of going to court. Let's be practical here. Nigeria's judicial system is dead. You want them to go and seek justice from the same courts that are controlled by wike? If you were in their shoes, would you bother wasting your money filing a case against wike who has all the judges in his pockets? Fifth, you think investors who think of investing in Abuja are not watching. You think these actions of lawlessly grabbing lands by wike would encourage them to go into Abuja to invest? We need to be logical in all these.
I really don't like the direction this country is going. The country is drifting into anarchy.
u can't say the judiciary is dead because most of it judgement doesn't favor one particular group or so.
Just yesterday a federal court(appeal court) gave judgement about FAAC allocation to River state and it wasn't in Wike's favor same wike u said have pocketed the judiciary.
The other point you raised too.honestly where things are working, do you think that same paulota group can delay paying what ought to have been paid for 20months ago while still making earning from the same landed property from its customers.
The only issue I have with the other side of the divide is why issue same landed properties to friends of wike.the needful should be done in that regards too.

you guys just keep talking anyhow because it has not gotten to you. Abuja is just like every other state or village in Nigeria, except for the presence of FG.

Can the people in your village provide any tangible document if the state govt decides to destroy their houses and take over their land?

I don't think any govt anywhr in the world will embark on such macabre dance without first compensating the indigenes. Wike should take it easy, he might live to regret all these some yrs to come.

The woman is stoopid....and so are you!!! Sometimes I wonder if Nigerians are sane people?

A man accused the judiciary of corruption, instead of people to be excited that any corruption in the judiciary will be exposed, they are begging and saying they should settle...is that how you bring about a sane country? he made weighty allegations against not just a man, but his firm and hence the lawyers in that firm as well as the judiciary...he should provide the evidence or be taught a lesson that you cant just abuse freedom of speech to defame people.

4 companies were given temporary land 40 years ago to house their staff temporarily while they embarked on construction in a virgin city. Three of the companies finished their contract and left the site. You because you think you are owner of Nigeria remained on the land build permanent structures and rented out the properties to tenants and have been collecting rent for decades. El Rufai (at least 10years ago) when he was a minister issued quit notice, your people allegedly assaulted the bulldozer driver, the matter died, you didnt think to take that as a cue to regularize the property which you have no legal claim or documents to? A new minister came and served you notice to regularize your documents over 1 year ago and told you to pay N40M. Please listen o.....a mere 40M!! you thought as owner of Nigeria you what can they do? The notice period expired and your forfeited all claims to the land and then you go on TV whipping up sentiments!!!! And then the same eeediots who complain about the country are condemning the man trying to bring sanity to our space.

The problem with Nigeria are Nigerians themselves.

I have lost land in Abuja because we did not do the needful...heaven did not fall. She has lost that land and heaven will not fall.

Now the issue of him allocating the land to someone supposedly close to him is a different matter but she was given time and the time elapsed, the land has been reallocated and it no longer beliongs to her. She can cry all she wants.

You want a country that works do your own part by obeying the laws! you people like to denigrate Nigeria and compare us to America and the UK.....you cant try this nonsesnse there...thats why their countries work. No sentiment!!!
Exactly! 💯

When El-Rufai was demolishing properties to build the Abuja we have today people cried like this.
But thank God Obasanjo didn't listen and he backed El-Rufai, that is why you have the Abuja you have today.
For a city to develop this must happen.

To me, I think the main issue is being swept under the carpet which is, why will Wike relocate the same land to himself through a proxy allegedly? He is using his office to enrich himself fraudulently which is part of the corruption we are talking about.
