I love this your pseudo history. So Titus set up standards in the Temple that accidentally caught fire before the Romans invaded and looted it abi?
You are just filled with lies and misrepresentations

Here is what happened:
Historical accounts, particularly those by the Jewish historian Flavius Josephus, provide a detailed narrative of the events surrounding the siege of Jerusalem and the destruction of the Second Temple in 70 CE. According to Josephus, the Roman forces, led by Titus, besieged Jerusalem, and the Temple was ultimately destroyed as part of the Roman campaign.

Josephus describes how the Romans initially sought to preserve the Temple, recognizing its significance. However, during the siege, a fire broke out, which was not an accident but rather a consequence of the chaos of battle. Josephus notes that the fire was ignited by the Romans, who were attempting to breach the Temple's defenses. The destruction of the Temple was a deliberate act rather than an accidental occurrence.

Furthermore, the standards (or ensigns) that the Romans set up were a symbol of their military power and were placed in the vicinity of the Temple, which was seen as a significant affront to the Jewish people. The standards themselves were not the cause of the fire; rather, the fire was a result of the Roman assault on the city!

Stop peddling lies!

Gabrielshow24 you are not the first preterist I’ve encountered and your argument is most pitiable of them all.

Just this question all preterists around the world have failed to answer:

Who fulfilled the abomination of desolation in Matthew 24 and declared himself god in the temple in 2 Thessalonians 2 v 3-4?

Give us the name of the person and the year it happened.

And you’re grasping at all sorts of straws to stay afloat. I get your time. You go entertain me wella.
For your information I am not a preterist!
You repeating 'one question over and over shows your immaturity '

So far your premise has changed; from your initial sentiments of "Satan fall in the future because of SOME TRIBULATION yet to occur"

To you relying on textual exactness of fulfillment of prophecy!

As far as Jesus is concerned and apart from Jesus there is no other physical credible source of truth.

Then I stand by the word of God that all the happenings of Mathew 24 allude to the Jerusalem sack by the Romans with futuristic promises of the son of man coming in Glory but that aspect has been LITERALLY fulfilled!

That's JESUS' WORD.

Oh really…

The romans wanted to preserve the temple yet one of them threw a fire stick on the temple wall hence defeating that objective. Tell me more and show us who committed the abomination of desolation in Matthew 24 and declared himself god in the temple in 2 Thessalonians 2 v 3-4.

The destruction of the temple in Jerusalem in 70 AD is not a fulfilment of Matthew 24.

1. There is no historical record of anyone who declared himself god in the temple. But if you suggest otherwise, kindly provide the name of the person who did it.

2. There is no historical record of anyone having a covenant with many for seven years as written in Daniel 9 v 26-27

3. The great tribulation is yet to happen. No historical record of the mark of the beast or restrictions to buy or sell if one doesn’t bear a mark.

4. Jesus has not returned. The resurrection of the saints is yet to happen

5. There are plans to rebuild the temple in Jerusalem.
Re: From Heaven They Descended Into Hell — Then Lucifer Reacted by OkCornel(m): 7:05pm On Dec 15, 2024
Centuries before Jesus was born, Antiochus Epiphanies even did worse than the Romans, he sacrificed a pig on the altar of the Jewish temple and slaughtered many Jews.

Yet Jesus didn’t even consider that as a fulfilment of the abomination of desolation prophesied by Daniel.

Relying on the events of 70AD as fulfilment of Matthew 24 is dead on arrival.

Besides, there are plans to rebuild the Jewish temple. Go and read that up Gabrielshow24

Are this daft?
The whole bible leads up to the desolation of the temple.

Which has two interpretations literal or metaphorical.

You, the advocate for historical timemark are now denying existential that specific literal verse that has a historical timemark to it🤦

That shows the logical incongruity I have been trying to point out to you!

To answer your point:
29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His [d]elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

That's why I said in my earlier write ups because weren't paying attention and we're concerned with pushing along your deluded agenda.

I argue that the revelation you so mention is metaphorical you argued it was literal.

Now am using Matthew 24 Jesus' words along with historical records to show you the literal interpretation of the verse now you object that it's not literal because According to you Christ has not fallen!

Now I pose to you the definition of a generation because if you deny the meaning of a generation you deny Jesus!

I brought out this verse to you the bible is filled with both literal and metaphorical meanings.

Dwelling on the literal is not sufficient to draw conclusion.

Now in your stupidity you now consider verse in thessalonians, YOU can imagine.
But you failed to consider verses for your initial claim.

I just want to show the world and you!
your hypocrisy!

Was the temple desolated true or false?

That's what I'm asking of you, to be sincere with yourself and tell me!

My whole scheme is to show you fallacies.

You can easily include Daniel into the basis to infer it's futuristic but when you were making absolute claims regarding Satan. You didn't cite any verse as pertains to Satan apart from Revelation 12!

And you based your entire arguments on literal and chronological order!

Can you see how incongruous and hypocritical you are?

That's not what I believe, I am instead taking up a role that will act adversarial in a sense in order to show your hypocrisy!

You can't catch me brother!
Your biblical interpretation was not consistent!

Hence the elaborate method of systemic reply!

Matthew 24:
Alludes these things
1) the temple will be DESOLATED!
2) futuristic coming of Christ!
3) it established that the generation of all those present will experience the DESOLATION.
4)it gives precursors or signs on what to expect that will serve as indicators such as war, rumours of war, famine, false Christ etc

This is the summary of Matthew 24.
The part of the apocalyptic revelation of Daniel corroborates with the temple desolation.

But we know from christendom that the things of God have both literal and allegorical meanings!

The allegory then remains because of the sun not yet darkened because of the moon not yet in blood and the supposed seals and end time apocalyptic events are yet to occur as literally written!

Then men posit that the tribulation has pertaining the words of Jesus which says "Immediately after".

Which shows that although the prophecy had a literal historical timemark there is still an unspecified period of time called "the tribulation"

Evidence suggests that it's still to come!
Finally stop with your out of place assumptions.
I am not a preterist and never will I.
I understand the prophecy in Matthew 24 has an immediate fulfillment and a long term fulfillment!

Am not a child, I am aware of all the precept of the bible.

But I want to show you; in the same vein you consulted DANIEL, REVELATION and the likes
WHY DIDN'T YOU DO THAT FOR SATAN SUPPOSED STAY IN HEAVEN? But instead you relied on only one chapter and from there formed an absolute statement!

That's my bone of contention!
Nothing more nothing less!

Any logical person will see that I have fact made you to use other texts to validate your stance! Which was not evident before in your initial premise!

Have I not given you answers was the TEMPLE NOT DESOLATED?

As far as the bible and history is concerned the temple was infact DESOLATED.

WHETHER YOU SUGAR COAT IT OR NOT THAT'S YOUR BUSINESS!

I used Jesus' words to dismiss your insistence on the tribulation being a precursor to the fall of Satan!

So far as the biblical of prophecy of the desolation of the temple has been fulfilled along with the tribulation which Christ himself spoke about then Satan as a logical consequence has fallen.

Am just using your logic against you!
Nothing more nothing less

After reading the historical accounts of Josephus, the Jewish Talmud and other historical accounts, you still can’t tell us who fulfilled the abomination of desolation in Matthew 24 and declared himself god in the temple in 2 Thessalonians 2 v 3-4?

You still can’t give us the name of the person and the year it happened.
