I use my PC for learning and working. I am very lazy when it comes to using a laptop but yes everything is always up to date and the more I read more on Cybersecurity I will know how to protect my data. I am used to using my phone more, so I just generally don't click on anything but this is good advice and I will research more on it.

If she wants to combine it should could have said cyber law not cyber security. You cannot combine the two by learning cybersecurity and you studied law. That's not how things work.

and the older or more advanced you get, the harder it is

You cannot learn law, and cybersecurity and claim you can merge both together when there is a certificate called cyberlaw. No one is saying she is wasting her knowledge. I am saying she is learning the wrong thing if she wants to merge. But the funny part is that she is not a practicing lawyer.

I am currently studying Cybersecurity. Beginners level anyway, but what I read was quite chilling and is part of why I am currently studying it. I intend to merge it with law, so GRC (non-technical) and Information security (technical) are areas in Cybersecurity that I intend to specialize on in the coming years they are similar to Intellectual property Law which is an area of Law that I am interested in, it was an elective that I took in school and I have some certifications on it. What he did is part of data violation and privacy. That's scary and we need more regulatory laws in place. I hope in the future I am able to make a difference in that area.

Same is applied at even the FInance level.
Some of these elite PE companies like BlackRock recruit PHD holders from specified industries just for that.

I've had coursemates in my Uni days who merged Medicine and Law together.There was even one that merged Optometry and Law together, I was close to him and I really admired his bravery.

In most cases, lawyers don’t need to master technical subjects like cybersecurity. The lawyer's role is to interpret the law as they will be working with technical experts well versed in their field.

You are oversimplifies the role of law in technical fields and overestimates the need for every lawyer to have detailed technical knowledge. But there is interdisciplinary collaboration lies in leveraging specialized expertise.

Again, cyber law is its own field. If the government wants to make laws, they can get a cybersecurity lawer who is going to work with cybersecurity experts.

It takes years to be an expert. I am putting in the work now. I started the training last month. Hopefully next year I start taking certification exams but for now I am learning the theoretical aspects. It is a very promising field.

Many are in GRC. I didn't even want GRC at first but then I researched that from GRC you can get into Information security, GRC is not technical hence why it's easy to start from and many Lawyers go into it. If there is one thing I did very well this year was going into Tech and gaining better knowledge of it. I want to merge both fields.

if i came here and started claiming to be a doctor who trained in the us there are likely multiple gaffes i would make

i have read people say they had first class in medicine. once someone told me her sister in the us had become a doctor. and her sister had been in the us for maybe 4 years. i looked at her and did not say anything.

i had a friend who got a job in the us as a programmer and the guy suddenly went offline for months.
someone told my missus the guy was offline because he was working for the us government on top secret stuff
i said bs, googled the guy and found that sadly he had been arrested in an altercation with police, jailed for over nine months and he died in jail.
