Actually that's possible.

Lawyers wear many hats and can comfortably fit into any field they find themselves.

The popular Moechivous on Twitter and Muna are successful female lawyers and they do globe trotting year in and year out while running their business, or law practice.
You see Law ehn. I am glad that I studied it, as a Lawyer you can learn anything and go into any field. A friend of mine has gone into software engineering from Law oo. She went to a Tech school and not a formal institution for it. That's the same thing that I am doing. I can be getting certifications and building my profile in the field as time progresses.

Just ignore that fool.

Many are in GRC. I didn't even want GRC at first but then I researched that from GRC you can get into Information security, GRC is not technical hence why it's easy to start from and many Lawyers go into it. If there is one thing I did very well this year was going into Tech and gaining better knowledge of it. I want to merge both fields.
Correct babe.

I wish you the best in your career endeavours. kiss

Yeah, same here. I'm glad I studied it as well. It is such a versatile profession.

Recently, my coursemate from school who's also a lawyer recently delved into Finance. Like actual Finance. She's doing very well now.

If I want to deviate from Law, it has to be in the medical field or at least Tech. My final year project was in the pharmaceutical industry and how it relates to Law, to show you my seriousness.

You and your I too know mentality.
In most cases, lawyers don’t need to master technical subjects like cybersecurity. The lawyer's role is to interpret the law as they will be working with technical experts well versed in their field.

You are oversimplifies the role of law in technical fields and overestimates the need for every lawyer to have detailed technical knowledge. But there is interdisciplinary collaboration lies in leveraging specialized expertise.

Again, cyber law is its own field. If the government wants to make laws, they can get a cybersecurity lawer who is going to work with cybersecurity experts.
oga stick to pretending to be an oyel worker

the next thing you will say is law also has no place in the oil and gas industry

If she wants to combine it should could have said cyber law not cyber security. You cannot combine the two by learning cybersecurity and you studied law. That's not how things work.
GRC is an area in Cybersecurity. It comes with studying Cybersecurity. It's Cybersecurity. A GRC specialist is into Cybersecurity.
The field is very big that it has technical and non-technical areas and they are all grouped under cybersecurity. There are Lawyers combining the two. You don't even know what cyber law is because it's quite distinct from cybersecurity and cannot be used interchangeably.
You don't even know how things work. Loud mouthed empty barrel.

Mtchew. "cyber law" yani ozuor. People switch to tech without going to study it in the University. Mumu.

what are you trying to do - pretend to be a professional?

you want to put away your tinker toys and play with the big boys?

law and legal agreements exist across all strata of industry

IT, engineering, banking , medicine

to an obvious unschooled lying illiterate like you - law ends at you being bailed from the police

if today, a company, a nation state, a county, a local government is drafting policy or laws on cybersecurity a lawyer with a working knowledge of cybersecurity will stream line the process.

i understand if this flies over the empty space between your ears - because you dont understand how binding legal agreements on technical matters require people well versed in both law and the technical subject matter
He would ignorantly claim a medical doctor is wasting time studying law too because its not something he's ever heard of.

Such a rich profile. And here this one is saying that one cannot merge degrees.

Lol.

I've had coursemates in my Uni days who merged Medicine and Law together. There was even one that merged Optometry and Law together, I was close to him and I really admired his bravery.
the dude had an embarassing story of how one day when in school years ago - his entire class received a scam mail from nigeria . one of those mails filled with tabon and incoherent english. everyone was saying did you see the email from nigeria and the guy wanted to sink into the floor. probably an email from bemerucas predecessors - who were just as incompetent, lazy and useless as he is

People who want to mix cybersecurity and law learn cyber law.

Learning cybersecurity and law does not mean you are a cybersecurity lawyer.

Knowing how to pentest as a lawyer will not help you win a case.
Transactional lawyer to defend a constitutional case. You need a constitutional lawyer

That's how you know a very ignorant person. There are Nigerian Lawyers who are lawyers abroad who learned about a whole new different jurisdiction just by following certain requirements that didn't require going back to school for up to 4 years to learn about them again.

What is hacking, defining it does not mean you have studied cyber security. I studied computer science in the UK. In Nigeria, I studied mechanical engineering. I have a project management cert as well. In the UK, I worked in a web development firm. I move to Naija to work with Nnpc. I was in info tech department. Obtained my CCNA and moved to the US early 2023. The kind of programming involved in information tech, sys admin is mainly automation. Compared to what we were doing with ASP dot Net. What I have to learn to do system admin has no connection with programming. But they are all under the umbrella of computer science. A little bit of everything and it's up to you to pick your struggle.

Anybody who has ccie most likely has ccna

Let me outline it for you, lying sack of shit

Ccna
Ccnp
Ccie

CCIE stands for Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert, a series of technical certifications for senior networking professionals. The certification is offered by Cisco Systems and is considered a global benchmark for networking technology expertise.
The CCIE certification program includes several tracks, each focusing on a specific area of networking technology. Some popular tracks include:
CCIE Service Provider: Demonstrates skills with complex service provider solutions
CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure: Demonstrates skills in complex enterprise infrastructure solutions
To earn a CCIE certification, candidates must pass a rigorous exam that includes a core exam and a lab or practical exam. The lab exam tests the candidate's ability to configure and troubleshoot real-world network scenarios.
The CCIE certification is sought by senior technology professionals to demonstrate their expertise in networking practices. Employers may recognize and sometimes require the CCIE certification as a basis for hiring and promoting professionals.
Some recommend structured training programs and bootcamps to accelerate the learning process. When selecting a training program, it's important to consider the benefits and drawbacks, and to research reputable training providers.
No one with any knowledge of Cisco certifications will write the rubbish you just wrote.

That is like saying anyone who has a PhD most likely has a bachelors degree.

Ccna is the pure water of Cisco certifications. It is for the small boys they call to plug network cable back into the router. And here you are bragging I obtained my CCNA.

You are an embarrassment.

Now tell me about your project certification.

You had a degree that would give you a permanent staff position and you took a contract staff support role?
