Cletus Ilomuanya from Ihite Owerri, Hope Uzodimma from Omuma and the late Okwelle Holdings from Okwelle.

These are well known fraudsters that have morphed into governors, traditional rulers and law makers, ofcourse with the help of the Nigerian state. I blame Rochas shaa. He had the time and goodwill to stop their menace but got carried away. The best way to destroy a culture is to impose criminals as leaders. Igbos should fight off these characters. All these guys do is to lodge at the best hotels at owerri with the most sumptuous IMSU girls and wait for month end to share the "allocation loot". Rochas fought them for a while and stopped. They started with Udenwa and they are still at it. Maybe Imo state will unleash another Otokoto riot before their enablers back off.

The early years of the criminal advanced free fraud (419) activities using fax machines and more was indeed from the early 1990s. The same thing involved some notorious Anambra State indigenes back then for advanced free fraud but they ALSO morped into traditional rulers, ruthless politicians, and more like the Imo State case with the protection of some of their friends in high places in Nigeria. Notorious international fraudsters people such as Fred Ajudua (from Igbuzo in Delta State), Ade Bendel, Emmanuel Nwude from Anambra State and his 5 other accomplices such as Christian Anajemba, Anajemba's wife, etc, who were charged with swindling $242m from a Brazilian bank in the BIGGEST ever 419 in human history back in the 1990s with Emmanuel Nwude going on a spending spree buying up high-rise buildings in Lagos State, buying luxury cars and building mansions and becoming a director in Union Bank and UBA. Those dudes flaunted ill-gotten moneys and had absolutely NO conscience at all with sponsoring criminals into political positions!

The notorious "Eze Ego" too was into armed robbery in the early days and his father disowned him for that. He ended up doing some other opaque activities such as fraud and more (while covering up with a few seemingly legit activities) till he passed on.
