Marrying within same age bracket posed such challenges. Others include some women looking older than their husbands of same age after putting to birth.

Some cultures, men are encouraged to go for younger women with at least 7 or 8years difference. It is believed younger women care for older husbands In old age.

It's not because they care for men in their old age but because they have the ability to give birth with lesser complications and higher success rate.

Truly, this is a societal misconception and it is widely believed to be the norm all over the world, simply to make men slaves to women.
It is even worse abroad. Marriage is supposed to be a collaboration between a man and a woman in the relationship, working together for the betterment of the family and why a man is termed "The Provider" is so that the woman can stay back a little to care for the home (children) while the man is out to earn a living. But unfortunately and mostly recently, men are being made victims.
-Men are easily sent out of their homes on the flimsiest and unsubstantiated allegations of women
-Men are compelled to pay child support (sometimes for children that are not even theirs)
-Women are never punished for pinning bastard(s) on a man to father
-Men are quickly condemned for inability to "provide" as the woman expects to be provided for
-Yet, job opportunities are equally shared (most especially white collar) between males and females and there are more situations where you have more females getting into positions (or are even more preferred in certain positions than men).

A man was made to be the sole provider in the era where women were not allowed to work, NOT ANYMORE! ...

Some women are indeed very delusional:

You went to school, I went to school
You graduated and I also graduated
You got a job and I got a job
The opportunities that are out there for you, are the same (or even less) for me

And yet, somehow, after we meet again in 5 years, I'm expected to carry the entire financial burden of a full-grown adult who isn't in any way handicapped? ...

And worse still, I have to do that together with putting up with disrespect and ingratitude, all in the name of being a "real man"? ...

Dear men,

Don't uplift any woman. You're not her father. Uplift yourself and Invest on yourself that a woman will be afriad of leaving u, rather than uplighting her and she'll dump you immediately she sees a man who's richer than you.
