Well I would be shocked too if I am either an unbeliever or a christian comfortable in sin.
A true Christian would not be comfortable in sin.




I would be so terrified in the presence of God and see myself as unworthy to be before him.
Even if you were totally away from sin,you can never be worthy to be before him by that.We can only be free to approach him because of the price Jesus paid which was the last price to ever be paid and NOT! because of our righteousness. We can't even be righteous by our works!!!
For we through the Spirit by faith are waiting for the hope of righteousness. (Gal 5: 5)
I do not make the grace of God of no effect: because if righteousness is through the law, then Christ was put to death for nothing. (Gal 2: 21)
RIGHTEOUSNESS IS ONLY BY FAITH IN JESUS




Except God is mercifully granting an unbeliever a vision or visions to cause him/her to repent, the final end of every unbeliever is not heaven but hell… where the worms don't die and the fire never go out. No unbeliever after death and judgement is going to be with the Lord.
God would have loved to have them with him but then he is holy and cannot go against his word
He has said that whoever does not believe in his son, Jesus Christ is condemned already.And through his ministers on earth, he has been reaching out to men and calling them to repent from every lie they believe and trust in this one way that God has provided. God would not, cannot even, as he is bound by his word, accept anyone outside of Christ. Let no one deceive you friend, Jesus Christ is the only way to God. Man fell from God, Man has been redeemed back to God by Christ only.

As for carnal christians who are saved but are living in sin, God is already judging them through chastening so they won't be condemned like the world. God isn't judging the world yet but he is judging his children presently. That's why so many christians are poor, sick, mentally imbalanced, depressed, trapped and suffer many setbacks. We are being disciplined now as Sons of God so we don't perish with the world. And if we insist on walking against God's will we would suffer great loss in the future at Christ's return. It is not very clear yet what this loss would look like but its serious and very costly.

The justice system in our countries are just a reflection of a greater and pure Judgement throne. Your sense of morality proves his laws of good and evil are real and effective. Don't think you will meet a love feast once you pass on without Christ. That's a realm unknown to most of the world but sure believe that it supersedes what you have here on earth. Remember, Christ has been punished for your sins on the cross. Only accept him as Lord and what he has done.



To the carnal believer, please repent from living in sin. I challenge you to read the book of Romans especially from chapter 3-9 carefully. God didn't save us to continue being slaves to sin. He solved the issue of sin completely on the cross. Not only was Christ our substitute, we co-died with him on the cross.

Truly a christian's true joy is in his renewed spirit now and no more in his flesh. However the issue of comfort is a different thing. A christian may in his spirit not delight in sin but still find comfort or pleasure in what is familiar to him, which is sin.

Let's look at the explanation in Romans 7: 18-25

18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.

19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.

When we read this passage, we often think Paul is saying sin is an unejoyable pull and because we are christians now nothing in us is comfortable with sin. But that's not true, as we still have the flesh in our members that love sinning. We are redeemed from sin and we are no longer in the flesh but only our Spirits are presently new, every other part needs to be brought under subjection and their deeds mortified that's why there are admonitions to forsake the flesh and walk in the Spirit. Positionally, we are in the spirit but in our everyday walk, we have to choose between the flesh and the spirit. Galatians 5:16, Romans 8:13

Nobody would counsel you to walk in the Spirit if your will is to walk in the spirit. You love God and want to serve him, but only in your Spirit is this true, your will needs to be released from the bondage of sin so you can walk in the spirit else the default mode of your will in this world is to sin. From all this, your will is distinct from your spirit. They are not the same thing. So if your will is still bound to sin, your inner man would protest and God would chastise, but that would not take away the pleasure of sin in your members that keep you in sin.

Yes you are right, righteousness is by faith only. Even the believers who are keeping their garments pure acknowledge Jesus as their only righteousness. He is our wisdom, righteousness, sanctification and redemption. 1 Corinthians 1:30-31

May I say that the reason believers keep sinning is because they don't know Jesus is their holiness. And they live in guilt because they don't know that he is their righteousness. Many know it only in their heads and they think they are good to go but their lives prove that though they

Truly, all our troubles and sins are due to ignorance. That's why we must always seek for illumination from God and stop being mere theologians without power. Our everyday victory over sin depends on our everyday seeing of the victory of the cross by faith.

I never said fasting is a requirement for salvation. Prayer isn't too but we pray right? Studying the word isn't a requirement but we do it right? Because in the light of Romans 12:1-2, these are sacrifices we make to subject our bodies to God's word. And fasting isn't excluded. Only the bible has prophecies of events that have happened and others that will still happen. And the Holyspirit bears witness with our spirits. We know it more than we know our names. You haven't answered the question because you're quoting the book given to you and that can't be the yardstick to quantify anything.

For instance Jesus, Holy Spirit both are found in just one book revered as SCRIPTURES while others have their books as well and names of prophet or character in their books.

So i ask you again what assurance do you have that yours is more authentic that the others?
