I know u are the ignorant i am in London.

While coming to London last year i had to change plane in istabule. We waited for 3 good hours and entered a larger airbus heading to Heathrow.

If u think airpeace have not done well. Then u and ur father and family can now do the needful by opening a new airline company and starting ur own direct flight. undecided
You are the ignorant one. Grammar- zero, Comprehension - Zero.
First you said you had a stopover for 3 hours.
I told you that stopovers cannot be 3 hours. Layovers maybe but not stopover.
Now your new story is that you did a transfer.
You see, your problem is comprehension.
I have no issues with Air Peace but I maintain that the Anambra state governor needs to do better- create an enabling environment for Air Peace and OTHER AIRLINES to operate direct flights internationally.

When you check the flight itinerary, it does show that passengers have to disembark and board another flight from Lagos to Gatwick
$3000 what?! Very bloody expensive! Not even return, return with British airways doesn't cost this much.

At least, Igbos no longer have the excuse to want to die in Lagos. They can now fly from Anambra to any country in the world without having to pass through Lagos. This is indeed a welcome development. Any news that will help cleanse Lagos is well appreciated.

Without even checking, common sense should tell that there will definitely be a connecting flight but then what do I know?

Go and find out the proposal for the return to regionalism yoruba elders sent to the presidency and how they cleverly tried to carve out oil rich part of igbo land to niger delta and carve all yoruba speaking areas including kwara and parts of kogi and delta to yoruba region then we can have this discussion
Do you have a copy of the proposal? Put it here and let us see, if not you lied!

There are many things that needs to be in place before Airport can be certified for Direct International flights takeoff 🛫.

Kano
PH
Enugu
Lagos

Are the only 4 Airports for now that ET and Turkish Airline do take off from directly out of the country

In so far as the passengers would be checked in at ANA for London, pass through the immigration formalities at ANA, and not disembark at MMA Lagos to board another aircraft, it is as good as not stopping at MMA Lagos
They'll still pass immigration in Lagos for proper check.

ANA to Lagos is a local flight and not international flight, more so, they're using different aircrafts Boeing 777 for LOS to LGW.

It's same as flying from any other state to Lagos and then boarding Air Peace from Lagos to LGW.

This doesn't qualify as 'direct' flight

Direct flight means there's no stopover. The headline here is misleading.

What it should read is connecting ANA to LGW Via LOS.

Direct flight means LOS to LGW/LHR as BA, Virgin and Air Peace does from Lagos, as the only 3 airlines in the entire Nigeria that takes you directly from Nigeria to UK.

All other airlines make a stopover.

A stopover is different from a direct flight, as claimed in the headline

There are a lot of people not versed with international travel.

That's why I had to explain.

The comments did start to get into tribal war which i think was very unnecessary.

I don't really see anything to celebrate here.. well unless air peace would change the itinerary in the near future but the posting here ( ANA - Gatwick ) as a direct flight did not coincide with the flight itinerary air peace have in their website.

But we all know you southwesterners are damn scared to allow that

Shokoloko:
What a foolish Igbo child you are. A simple google search could have helped you.
All you lazy Nigerian youths do all day is play online games on your phone instead of studying and gaining knowledge.
This is the mediocre type of progress you want for Igbo land? You are celebrating rubbish. Anambra should have a direct flight to the UK.
