I realize that volunteering abroad is not common with Nigerians, but nothing stops you from doing it.

If you plan to move to Ivory coast (or any country actually), then go to www.workaway.info, insert the destination you want to travel to, and you can pick any host in the destination country.

By default, host provides accommodation and feeding, and you have the benefit of a local that can show you around, immerse you in a social circle, and help you integrate and establish yourself in that country.

So if you can paint, can teach English, a graphic designer, an editor, have farming skills, etc, just go find host that need such services, and exchange your skills for accommodation and foods.

I have volunteered myself in my university days. I was in Poland, Slovakia, Serbia, Ireland, Spain, and Romania. I volunteered mostly Europe in Europe because flying to Africa or Asia from Europe is expensive.

I met my first love (the only girl that genuinely loved me from her soul after my mother) during one of these volunteering. I could see the world, made international friends, and I experienced all that for free.

If I want to live in those countries for example, I already have friends there that will be glad to have me back and help me integrate and treat me like a family. Especially in Slovakia, Poland and Serbia.

So there you have it, a hack to make you experience Ivory coast by offering your skills, for free house and food, and local Friends that will help you integrate and settle.

Make sure you are not an untrustworthy person.

I jut checked now and saw that there are no hosts from Ivory coast. But you can find from Togo, Senegal, Ghana, Benin republic etc
