When did people on this planet started seeing magical acts in the name of miracles related to Jesus of Nazareth but not from Israel or Jewish nation? It was the time Satan and his demons began supporting false religions with supernatural power and initiated false prophets to lead many into false religions. The world never knew such since the last time the apostles of Jesus died in the first century but all of a sudden it became rampant globally. YES it's the year 1914! |

However this time they did not use 1915 as Russell had done when acknowledging his mistake. The Watchtower decided to retain 1914, and was able to do so by changing the date for the destruction of Jerusalem from 606 B.C. to 607 B.C. "Providentially, those Bible Students had not realized that there is no zero year between "B.C." and "A.D." Later, when research made it necessary to adjust B.C. 606 to 607 B.C.E., the zero year was also eliminated, so that the prediction held good at "A.D. 1914."-See "The Truth Shall Make You Free," published by the Watch Tower Society in 1943, page 239." Revelation - Its Grand Climax at Hand! p. 105 Since it was prior to 1914 that Russell and the Bible Students identified there was "no year zero," the above comment is dishonest. The year zero was not removed because research led to 607 B.C., but rather the elimination of the year zero led to moving from 606 B.C to 607 B.C. The Society changed history with the stroke of a pen, however neither 607 B.C. nor 606 B.C. is correct. All historical evidence shows that Jerusalem fell in 587 B.C. an understanding that undermines the entire basis for 1914. After the first century miraculous works among Christians stopped completely because the Jewish disciples of Jesus to whom the promise of supernatural gift were made had all died but suddenly in the 20th century there arose thousands of prophets (founders of sects performing great signs in Jesus name yet they are not Jews. How come this is happening? Well it's because Jesus (archangel Michael) and his angels drove Satan out of heaven to earth so they are the secret behind such supernatural gifts to promote falsehood and confusion as one miracle worker teaches what contradicts the other miracle worker. All these began in the year 1914! |

Repent for the Kingdom of heaven is near! John the baptist said for months before Jesus came to John for his own baptism! Matthew 3:2 Jesus also said the same thing before and even after John the baptist was taken and detained! Matthew 4:17 And it's the same message Jesus commanded his disciples to preach when he had gathered twelve men! Matthew 10:7 Imagine you were alive during the time all this occur first you noticed John then six month time you heard Jesus saying the same thing and later Jesus' disciples became so active even after his execution. What will you say about the whole thing that happened that year? What do you think most Jews will say back then? Let's not stress ourselves there was talks about John the baptist, Jesus of Nazareth and his disciples falsely prophesying about the end of the world!  The Jews are familiar with all the prophecies related to the Kingdom of heaven so they knew that when the Kingdom comes the earth will change completely and evildoers will all perish one day! Psalms 37:7-11 But decades following this event both John the baptist, Jesus of Nazareth and his disciples became the talk among many Jews as they were saying: “Where is this promised presence of his? Why, from the day our forefathers fell asleep in death, all things are continuing exactly as they were from creation’s beginning.” 2Peter 3:4 So today the real disciples of Christ are facing the same thing for proclaiming the same message "Repent for God's Kingdom is near" each year the families of people throughout the earth who joined this group continue counting years after members of their family left their religion for this faith proclaiming the message of God's Kingdom. This is because the same manipulative terminology used prior to 1914 is still used in Watchtower publications to this day. 1914 is the pivotal date for the existence of Jehovah's Witnesses, currently explained as the date: ● the Gentile times ended ● Jesus started ruling in heaven ● the Last Days began 1914 is the basis for the interpretation of the majority of other Bible prophecies. Most importantly, this was the time during which Jesus is said to have come to inspect and cleanse the Watchtower Society, resulting in Jesus choosing it in 1919 to be the only organization he works though in our time, and the only means of salvation. The current understanding is significantly different to the original teachings. Sand2022:Going by the message John the baptist and Jesus of Nazareth delivered that year how did those who believe in their message feel? Do they hope it will still take a long time before God's Kingdom comes or they were expecting it within that decade? Remember John thought it's immediate after baptizing Jesus! Matthew 11:2-3 Jesus' disciples also thought it will happen after his resurrection! Act 1:6 So the truth remains that the spirit of God that is sending the signals never gave a specific date but imperfect believers were anticipating the end of badness eagerly yet they never mentioned any specific date. You can post a publication of Watchtower that mentioned a specific date regarding the end of the world apart from anticipation like John the baptist and Jesus' disciples! |
