This has absolutely nothing to do with being Gen Z and since many people are ignorant of this, I want to applaud the young woman for sharing her experience with us all.

Every birth. The reason is quite simple. When the new born baby sucks the breast, the brain releases a hormone called oxytocin. This hormone helps to contract the uterus which serves to prevent further bleeding follwing child birth.

However this can be very painful. Almost as painful as labour. I am actually quite surprised tha many people don't know.

First few weeks of breastfeeding is usually painful, it's natural, it's not about the latch. Lots of men don't know half of what women go through pain wise. Everything is content nowadays

The soreness comes from weeks of the baby not latching properly is different contraction pains. Contraction pains comes right from the first day of breastfeeding. These stupid men don't know a quarter of what women pass through from pregnancy to childbirth to raising a child. All they know how to do is talk all sorts of trash about women.

I never see any woman dey cry while breastfeeding before, except maybe the baby bit their nipple and they shout.

I am actually quite surprised that many people don't know this.

In addition to the pain associated with uterine contraction, the nipples are equally painful as well. Not sure why that is. So imagine a mother going through the rigors of natural birth/episiotomy or ceaserian section only to learn that there is yet another source of pain waiting right by the corner from breastfeeding. It is incredibly overwhelming and tear jerking.
