Bros, what is bad is bad irrespective of where it came from. Eziukwu market is a hub for fake products. And Igbos are the major victims of the callous traders. They all should be arrested and prosecuted. We should rid igboland of evil and wicked men that put profit before lives.

Devilish beings!

How can someone in his/her right senses be producing poison for people to consume in the name of making money? Is that not witchcraft?

2015 was when I stopped drinking Royal Challenge.

This is because, one faithful day like that,I decided to sale Royal Challenge Bottles of the ones I have already consumed,I call one of those bottle buyers to buy them and the man insisted that I must sale their packets as well

That means they have to use to packet to package the fake ones they have produce and still sale them for people to buy.

What I did was to destroy those bottles and quit taking particular drink( Royal Challenge)

Glimpsetv:
Mind-boggling moment as NAFDAC discovered a large volume of fake drinks and revalidated expired products at Eziukwu Market, also known as Cemetery Market, in Aba, Abia State.

“The volume of expired products being revalidated was deeply troubling,” stated Mr. Martins Iluyomade, NAFDAC’s Director for the South-East Zone.

Consumers have been urged to stay vigilant when buying products to avoid health risks. This revelation followed an operation conducted on Tuesday, during which NAFDAC uncovered numerous fake and adulterated products. These included wines, whiskey, yogurt, carbonated drinks, chips, dry gin, and other beverages.

Some of these products were found being made under unsanitary conditions within the market, while others were expired items being relabeled with new dates.

Regarding the findings, NAFDAC has pledged to continue identifying and prosecuting those involved in these illegal activities as part of its broader mission to protect public health,” Iluyomade concluded.

I had to look up the place on Google Maps.

The market borders Cemetery Road and Eziukwu Road.

They shouldn't have kept the Cemetery market name.
Lol, Iyana Mortuary is one of the safest place you can be in Abeokuta.
Cemetery road/str in Ebute Meta, Lagos is a very calm place with good commercial activity and some residential homes.
I think we need to go back to public execution days, things just dey spoil everyday for now, corruption above 10m, armed robbery, kidnapping, any armed forces or paramilitary forces extortion (even if it's ₦100), etc should all attracts death penalty, any judge that used technicality to discharge a corruption case should be dismissed and tried for corruption

I condemn the activities of these in strongest terms and I pray they will be fished out and be dealt with severely.

However, your statement exposes how uneducated, stu.pid, and utterly disgusting you and your likes are. Why not help the SE get their own country through mobilizing your deadbeat representatives in the govt.? At least, that will save your miserable, lowlife, good for nothing self the agony of being in the same country with the Igbos. Aturu ocha!

Let’s be thoroughly destroying all non-returnable packs and containers of products we buy, after we finish using them.

Some of us can’t destroy common toothpaste packaging, and its tube let alone containers of body lotions etc. For pressurized cans, remove the spraying head and don’t dispose them together.
Deface and peel off many labels and puncture or perforate many plastic containers. The best they can make out of it is to recycle it which is fine.
Always don’t dispose containers’ with their caps together at the same time.

Break non returnable bottles, safely, after consuming their contents.

Scavengers are not helping matters at all.

Doing these and many more will help reduce local product counterfeiting more than half.

Re: Fake & Expired Products Destroyed In Cemetery Market Aba By NAFDAC (Photos) by jaxxy(m):
I think aba markets need to have self regulation by unions to address sort of fake products flooding their market.

Fake products are not bad if they are not potentially harmful to the users like in certain goods like cloths and wears but not for products that will interact directly with the body systems which must have specific standards.

Sheer wickedness, all because of money. Destroying the goods is not enough though, they need to dig out the syndicates behind it, because until people start getting sent to prison for life this won't stop.

Selling expired goods is tantamount to Murder. Such wickedness.
