Human rights activist, Comrade Israel Joe has
narrated how a man (pictured) was kidnapped
and k!lled with the connivance of his friend in
the Otokutu community, Ughelli South Local
Government Area of Delta State.

Joe, who disclosed this in a Facebook post on
Friday, December 20, 2024, said the suspects
beheaded the deceased, buried his head in a
shrine and kept collecting ransom from his
family.

According to the activist, the police led by the
DPO of Ekpan, CSP Shaba, exhumed the head on Friday morning, December 20.

“

This is the young man who was kidnapped
from Otokutu with the connivance of his
friend for which I raised an alarm last month.
He was actually bęheaded and the head
buried in the shrine while they were still
collecting ransom from his family,”.

"His head has been exhumed this morning. I
had earlier taken his brothers to CSP Shaba,
the DPO Ekpan to make a report. This same
DPO has in all honesty proven himself worthy,
of this investigation and operation.

“Thank you so much, CSP Aliyu Shaba. The
wicked shall not go unpunished. Rest in
Power.”

Saw a boy below 18 driving a GLE350 worth about 60 million in my village and asked what the boy does for a living and the insulted me for been angry that his car was expensive than my own. Since that day I started minding my business in the village O! I use the back to my father house to check on his grave and leave the same way.
Only for me to hear he was an informate to kidnappers disturbing the village.
