aylipple:Fair enough, but you should know that there is an extreme that hideous policies can push the poor to where it becomes almost unreasonable to ask the poor to be reasonable. Hunger is not a reasonable thing. |

Sp1ritHusband:They have been organizing for years without stampedes. The people you should blame are those festering hunger on Nigerians. Making those in need of charity 10X more than the usual numbers. The government is 100% to blame. |

kingthreat:O yes I blame the government but will also hold accountable those organizing the events without appropriate safety measures. |

Just put the necessary Agency to Orientate people , the weather is not friendly, my eyes watery ,nose hurt , even my malaria has refuse to go two weeks now ...Telling people who are asthmatic or have respiratory issues to queue might not help at this time . The stampede too has it's own consequences join. I am trying my best not to say hunger in the land , but it is obvious for all to see. |

“Hunger is not a reasonable thing”, I totally agree. Just so painful that it’s still the “poor” that have to die for the mere reason that they’re poor; don’t think I’ve seen or heard a rich man die because they were rich! May the souls of the dead Rest In Peace! DeepSight: |

VinnyBaba:Agbadorian a derogatory word for people who believe in Tinubu's vision of of making agriculture a corner stone of the economy. Isn't it ironic given all these incidents of people being trampled to death over a few cups of rice. |

Melonsmasher:Was he the organisers that failed to ensure/provide security and emergency services? Or did he ask them to rush the foods. Everyone is affected about the economy, but then he has done well as the president for cancelling his engagement for the day. |

Aren't you disturbed that it has never been horrible like this before? Even if you are heartless, you are supposed to be touched by these unfortunate circumstances |

accountantben:He has also done well for selling rice at 120k per bag, this is first of it kind. 100 people died in one week just because they are looking for what to eat (rice) it is also first of it kind. People are dying like flies because of rice , yes the president has done well. |
| Re: FCT, Anambra stampedes: Tinubu mourns victims, cancels scheduled events In Lagos by Pacesetter123(m): 8:29pm On Dec 21, 2024 |
If not the hunger and abject poverty this government inflicted on its citizens, what would have made grown up family men and women lined up for a cup of rice? Or what would have made parents push their over 5000 children to go and queue for a prepared plate of rice like people in destitute homes in a war-torn country? It's severe hunger and penury this government has subjected the masses to that is causing all this stampede incidents. And so far this failed economic policy induced hunger continues,we will keep on seeing more of this ugly incidents. So my own solution I will proffer to this recurrent menace of stampede is that, the government of PBAT should make a deliberate effort in formulating and implementing people oriented economic policies that are aimed at pulling the country out of abject poverty. If this is done, the incident will automatically stop on it own. That's my 2 cents. RIP to the deads though! |

If not hunger and starvation orchestrated by your administration, those people would have been alive. |

Wait o. Was there a stampede in Anambra too?? Nigerians too are a problem unto themselves. Always in a hurry and resistant to orderliness. |

Ishilove:Now this here is the problem. It's the very reason why many Nigerians don't deserve anything free. Anything given FOC is never appreciated and always taken for granted. Dig a borehole in a community where there is no water, I tell you, within the period of two years, they will scatter that borehole and go back to not having water, and heck, they'll be very comfortable with it. |
