Never forget🚨

TheSuperNerd:
I did a deeper profile study on Christantus Uche over the past week as well and I am very convinced that he is needed badly in the Super Eagles midfield as a quality addition at CDM and CM most especially. He also excels in the CAM zones.

Uche in summary is a rock in his defensive half, a fox in the opponent's box, and a well rounded nine-tailed fox in midfield.

The lad's close ball control, on field vision, high technicality combined with good passing and his immense physicality makes him a proper Yaya Toure profile.

This guy will cover all midfield positions. The coaches should get him in as soon as possible.

He is not a specialist MF like Onyedika, Iwobi and co who specialises in certain midfield roles to excel but he is a lad who looks pretty comfortable across all midfield positions due to his ability to combine his beastly physical profile with his high end technical profile.

I used to think we just have a Rodri-like profile in Uche but I am now further convinced we have a Yaya Toure profile in Uche.

Onyedika is our Busquets/Rodri-profile.

Ola Aina is the best Rightback/Right Wingback in Africa currently. No debate.🔥

Showed it at Afcon 2023. And his form gets even better in the EPL under Nuno Espirito Santo.

It is interesting that for a time there was actually an Aina vs Ebuehi debate on this thread couple of years ago.

How time flies....

We really have great talents in the Super Eagles. Our problem is how to harness them for better results. I just hope whoever the new incoming coach is, he will be able to fix things right

Yea, Aina has improved tremendously, Ebuehi was better then. It was that ACL injury that destroyed Ebuehi's career.

AE made a very big mistake, he should have contacted you first or asked Nigerians to vote for who Nigerians wanted him to vote for before he came out to vote Messi since he was representing you guys as Nigerians.
It's the same you and your likes that are also praising the Ivorian coach for voting Lookman when his country man was among the top 5 list. Since you clapped for him, does that means he voted for Lookman base on what his country wished for since he was also representing the whole of ivoire coast?

It was clear that Banda would win the Women Player of the year, would you have clapped for AE if he had voted for Banda instead of the Nigerian representative?

I insist that most of you are always fond of complaining, you guys have been wired to complain over everything else I see no reason for the complaint of who AE voted for when no Nigerian was on the FIFA list.

And since according to you AE was representing the country with his vote, what makes you think most Nigerians would have voted for Vinicius or Bellingham over Messi if Nigerians were asked to vote on behalf of Nigeria? 🤔
this is one big reason nairaland dey always tire me to come🤣…ive been following everyone’s post and just shaking my head at those blaming AE for voting for Messi…sharp sharp dey don dey downgrade his personality and qualifications… like people can complain die when dem no like or want you again😅😅….i cant wait to hear the announcement of the new eagles coach jare….we just need to win our March qualifiers shaa

A sweet finish. Aina's second PL goal of 24/25 has Nottingham Forest sitting 3rd currently on the table, 4 pts ahead of Man City in 6th.
Interesting times...

Ofcourse I know Hakimi exists but Aina was undoubtedly the best at the last Afcon and has kept it going since then in the duality of that role currently. Wingback and Fullback.

I think Aina over Hakimi CURRENTLY. Been the best in that role since the Afcon.

Hakimi has been the best for a while though preceding the Afcon.

What of Hakimi?😃

Bruno Onyemaechi has played further forward than LB in his last two league games for Boavista (LM and LW) Today, he is playing as LW again.

He scored from the LW role last time out vs League Champs, Sporting CP.

"My Stamina Improved After My Mum Introduced Fufu To Me In UK ."

-Ademola Lookman

"Growing up in the U.K, I was used to eating a lot of junk foods cos it's something very handy without wasting your time.

One day my mum followed me to the pitch where I play soccer with other kids at the age of ten, she noticed how I easily fell down when being shoved by other kids when contesting for the ball.

After the match, she told me "Ademola my son, I am not impressed by the way you fall when playing football. You are a Nigerian child and you should have the stamina of a Nigerian"

The next day, my mother introduced "Fufu" to my diet, at first I didn't like it because of the fowl smell, but as I ate it with ewedu soup, I could see the results as my stamina increased.

Now I am here, how can I have make it this far without eating Fufu? I will always represent Nigeria❤️"

The only difference between Aina and Ebuehi then was Argentina friendly match, nothing more....Aina started and fumbled Ebuehi and Idowu in and the game changed...key to Ebuehi and Idowu WC appearance but after that they fizzled out.
