I'm not a Zulu, so it would be cultural appropriation for me too as well... smiley smiley smiley

It's Sunday, go to church, because you need serious prayers.
Sp1ritHusband:
Hahahahah.

Na, she is not allowed to dance other people's cultural dances as that would amount to a cultural appropriation. Also, she will not be able to dance it well like a natural South African.

You have nothing to fear sister as I am a saved, sanctified and spirit-filled brother in the Lord.
The Adamic nature has been uprooted from my heart and I only think pure thoughts.
I would love to see you in that cultural dance as I am curiose and want to confirm something.

Lol.

All I want to know is, were they also regarded as hoes for dressing like that?
almarthins:
I grew up in Western Nigeria, I am a descendant of people who merge their culture with yoruba and South south. But we re more like the yorubas. The Internet is rife with misinformation, just because you pull out a picture from the internet doesn't mean you know the people.

My grand ma had regarded this era of the olden days(as "ekhen orelede"wink meaning they didn't have the means to cloth themselves properly. They had a deity by which you would swear to be faithful to your husband which was how they ensure control. After they stop doing that women became open w h o r e s.

Where I came from if a woman sleep with another man while she is married, the children will begin to die mysteriously, and autimately the husband will also die mysteriously if he fails to denounce and divorce her. Today, it is not like that anymore.

The society we see today would have fallen into this type of modern decadence if our fathers didn't put into place measures to maintain order.

And you really made my presence in here difficult...🤦🤦🤦

But it's fine, over it now... So that guy is no different from you... I'm just gonna let him believe whatever he wants to believe because I'm not here to prove myself to anyone.
Silentgroper:
Yeaahhhh .. that was the Early days ... You uploaded a picture of a girl on some hill or mountain and claimed that was you or so ...

I thought that wasn't you, so I kind of thought, maybe she's just some impersonator ..

You know how these yahoo boys can be ...

They were not called a w h o r e because there was boundaries a woman must never cross during their those days. Those boundaries don't exist anymore because the children of men has become lawless even with availability of laws. Walk with those kind of naked like wears on the street and expect no get raped multiple times.

You can't dress like that any more in my home town and not be called a hoe. There is enough fabrics in the market to buy and cover your unclothedness. The first man and woman were not naked because God cover their unclothedness with animal skin. In the ancient world of first civilization (mesopotamia, Egypt, Greek, persia ) , women were always depicted as being well dressed.

However, in the aztec and inca civilization in the America, women are often scantily dressed. The question I asked myself then was where did this culture of unclothedness come from?

The answer to that question is two sided coin. If you don't understand the source of what you call culture or tradition you may unknowingly be participating in an unspoken ritual to a diety. Go and research your culture very well.

your presence in here difficult .. I do not think I made that happen .. I best even made you comfortable around here..

Your presence here being difficult was all you ..

Remember you came in here talking about some folks trying to scam and you thought they were Nigerians .. you literally made it look like anyone trying to scam you is Nigerian...

As for the guy, he is either new around there or trying to get your attention ...

It's not that much a of a big deal...

It's not my fault that your people are globally known for internet fraud, and it's certainly not my fault that the person who tried to scam me was using a Nigerian number, unless if there's another country with a +234 code.

And since I couldn't get any assistance here or from your EFCC, I asked this other IT specialist acquaintance of mine to at least help me track the number, and can you guess where it led us to, Mr Know It All?

globally known for fraud .. that's a misconception and just a bloody stereotype s...

We're not even in the top 100 in the countries known for fraud ..

Because it's +234 doesn't mean it's a Nigerian ..

Using another Country call code number is a common hack .. anyone can do that shiit ..

Ever heard of VPN ... It can ping you to any location you set it to .. so if one friggin it experr tries to find it's location, it pings there and not the real ... So unless there's a concrete evidence, you're falsely accusing my people to be fraudulent ...

I'm the same vein, one could easily assume you're riddled with HIV since your people/country are globally known to consistent carriers of the virus ... Right!!!

So chill madam and tone down the aggression

Seems to me like those Yoruba women would still get raped because those boundaries only applied to them while the men were free to do as they pleased with them and you did say you men in Nigeria can't handle a woman wearing revealing clothes... A woman can have boundaries, but still get raped because rapists don't care about a woman's boundaries as long as she has a vagina, the sooner some of your gender learn to tame their lust, the better... A perfect example is the women in the Middle East, they cover themselves from top to bottom, but they still get raped on a daily basis... Some would even take their own lives just to avoid being raped.

There's no excuse to raping a woman.

Our Sepedi men's native attires are also revealing and we Pedi ladies have no issues with it at all...😋😋😋

It's just curves and not a big deal, you can't settle down with a woman solely because she has a curvey body figure.

The whole world and especially africa have been corrupted by western and arab religion.

Especially the arab religion, it has eaten away at the senses of some of our people, that have lost their African identity.

They apply those principle and easily get offended by things that have little or nothing to do with them.

Rape is a very serious crime in Nigeria, it is not taken lightly, and our women do wear what they like in and out, so it is not like they are ban or restricted.

However, they are encouraged to cover up, as most of our new traditional wear are full covering.

It's only few ladies who'd say such things.

So don't generalize based on few ladies.

You guys just need to leave our SA men alone because they don't really care who SA ladies date or get married to.
