How Isaac Oyedepo Prevented A Succession Fight At Winners! by Daejumong(op): 9:53am On Dec 23, 2024
How Isaac Oyedepo prevented a succession fight by leaving his dad’s church to start his own ministry!

Bishop Oyedepo has two sons who are both pastors, well educated and fervent in the things of God! They naturally looked forward to taking over from their dad!

David Oyedepo Jr. is the first son of Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, also known as Winners Chapel. Born in June 1983, David Oyedepo Jr. has followed in his father’s footsteps and is a prominent pastor within the church.
He was ordained as a pastor in May 2007 by Kenneth Copeland and has since taken on significant roles within the church. He currently serves as the Resident Pastor at the Living Faith Church headquarters in Canaanland, Ota, Nigeria.

Isaac Oyedepo, the second son of Bishop David Oyedepo, was born on February 26, 19851.
He officially started his own ministry, Isaac Oyedepo Evangelistic Ministries, on November 28, 202312. Before this, he served as a full-time pastor with Living Faith Church Worldwide for sixteen years, pastoring branches in the USA, South Africa, and Nigeria.

Pastor Isaac’s idea of starting his own ministry was a very honourable and magnanimous decision! It prevented imminent brotherly fight and squabbles for the throne! His commendable decision has increased the love and respect his elder brother and parents have for him!

Bad belle reporter! Because God has shamed you and you have nothing tangible about the church to talk about, you then invented your own 'guesses" to vomit your anger. God will keep disappointing you and the likes. Did Isaac came to tell you that in your bedroom because you are too close to him, right? You better go and look for job to do. No true child of God establishes his own church without hearing clearly from God; it doesn't follow your conjecture. Isaac and his father had shared how God told him before he setups his ministry.

You better go to look for how to better your own life or are you born to monitor and reporting other people successes alone in this world while you yourself rotten in poverty, use your head and think right.

Those of you criticising oyedepo should understand that it’s not his fault that he studied the scamming method in Christianity in the late 80s, most of our parents had the same opportunity of learning the scam but they chose not to because it wasn’t that lucrative back then, but he continued he didn’t give up.

The same opportunity have come again, a lot of youths are doing yahoo, some people are busy castigating and talking ill of them, 20years from today, all the youths will be parents and Nigeria will the 100X worse than it is today especially with the economy, your children will still be in the same society with the children of today’s scammers. Your kids won’t buy bread cheap in future, always remember this…. No one is coming to take price of fuel back to 65naira …. Even Angel Micheal can never pull such stunts.

If you know how to save your children and grandchildren today, do that oooo… you’re suffering today because your parents were honest and straightforward.. deep inside them, they won’t make a similar mistake of doing nothing if given another chance, many of them won’t tell you… make money even if it’s illegal, they may feel somehow initially due to conscience and morality but in a matter of day, weeks, months they’ll key into accepting you and your success.

Check our president today, all his dirty past is now a thing of the past…

Or you think any Nigeria pastor kids and immediate family will suffer the bad economy ?

Be wise and look for how to make money

The fight would have been more deadlier and bloody if David Abioye was not forced to retire.
Baba saw the fight coming.
Church is family business.
If you do not want to be a loser, go and open your church like Abioye.

Church con turn family business. Waiting to see what RCCG would do as Adeboye himself didn’t start the church. Would he hand over to his children?

Succession plan indeed.

Like it's a throne.

But on a serious note, as humans, it will be very difficult to allow the control of such a vast empire built over the time leave the family circle.

Is it a family business or God's church?

CAC was founded by Babalola his son did not succeed him

RCCG was founded by Pa Akindayomi his son did not succeed him.

ECWA was founded by Caucasians from UK and Canada...their children did not succeed them.

If Oyedepo his scheming for his son to succeed him then ask him the first question

During my days in the banks abroad. I once reviewed the ptofile of a client and saw he had about 5 accounts. Each account had more than $500,000 account balance.

Totalling almost $3m and just out of curiosity, I checked the job of the account holder. He was a phillipino Pentecostal pastor and church owner.

Church is a big lucrative business.
