Nothing works in Nigeria. Let's not deceive ourselves. You're talking about 5% who are doing well out there. What then happens to the rest 95% that are poor, struggling to eat and live below a dollar per day?

Let's wake up from this self deception man.

This mumu guy don start again. The last time he left naija for a country saying he will not come back. I told him if he came back ogun will punish him. But he shamely came back and bought a house in Lagos.

Now he is going to Portugal, soon he will soon be back to Nigeria and prepare for another country. Very shameful style of social media creation.

I am not saying not to travel, I am giving advice based on my experience. When you go out, come back with that skill after a while and it is easy to join the elite. I will be back in Nigeria in a few months to practice what I preach. I just returned from Nigeria and I see lots of business opportunities which people don't see.

I believe I will have a great time in Nigeria based on my keen observations, I see hundreds of millions of untapped opportunities in Lagos alone.

Ok, if you are in the category of billionaires like Dangote, Otedola, and others without fraud, narcotics, stolen money, or fronting for politicians BUT just out of sheer ingenuity and honest work/investment/business, then congrats.

You don't have to be a billionaire to have fun in Nigeria but there are great money making opportunities in Nigeria. I have seen it for myself.

A relative was saying more than you saying now 10 years ago.

I will collect her from the Airport on New Year's Eve!

She's even leaving kids and hubby behind in 9ja. With little hope of reunion soon due to immigration changes. MSc she could have easily done 8 years ago, relocated with one kid and hubby then. She could have had the others here.

Nor make mouth too much. I have heard many like you over the years.

Let me not begin with promising young people 9ja extinguished in their prime this year. She's even leaving partly to leave the sorrow behind. She grew up in a rich home, inherited properties and has a good income.

Pray that 9ja doesn't happen to you.

Nobody wanted to leave 9ja. When leaving, it was to get degrees, then return in maximum 10 years.
Decades have now gone. 9ja was better when we left than now.

Before my koro koro eye, we bought a brand new 504 for 4,500 Naira. Yes, salary was not high but an average civil servant could afford it on hire-purchase.

Bros,

I have seen a lot in life and not afraid of anything. I don't believe in God or prayers and not afraid to die. I have three companies and carry a foreign passport as a dual citizen. I have bought and sold houses abroad and in Nigeria, I only clown around on NL. In real life, success is a matter of life and death as I came from a poor background and left home at 14. I have come to understand Nigeria system very well and I will be ok. Not bragging.
Re: Why I Left Nigeria For Portugal - Tayo Aina (Video) by Blazetrailer: 2:31am On Dec 24, 2024
Nonsense....dick measuring devoid of any rationality or connection to the question that was asked. Who cares how many houses you have sold or not or whatever passport you hold. There are people with much more than that on nairaland ans they chose to be quiet about it. Insecurity.

Question is, if you did not have those things you talked about nor any form of security that you childlikely listed below, would you be satisfied to remain in Nigeria as it is currently or seek opportunity for a better life elsewhere? That was the question.

If you can answer that honestly, then we can guage your level of reasoning.

When you leave Nigeria, do not abandon the country entirely.

Get your foreign citizenship, foreign education and create a business you can run from Nigeria and then, come back even if to live in Nigeria part-time or full time. The biggest mistake I made was staying away from Nigeria for to long, I have now learnt my lessons. It does not not matter the situation in the country, I believe I have what it takes to succeed and live a better life way beyond anything I can have abroad.

The richest Nigerians are in Nigeria.

I wish Tayo best of luck.
I'm curious, what lessons did you learn? Also, which foreign countries did you reside in before settling down in Nigeria?

P.S. The richest Nigerians or any group of citizens would always be in their home countries. It's not a function of migration, but basic mathematics.

No matter how bad the situation is, Nigeria is still at the middle. Lots of places are worse than Nigeria while some better than Nigeria.

Irrespective of what the situation is in your father's house, never be like the South-Easterns who discribe their father's house with the left hand...
So you are saying portugal he travelled to, Nigeria is better? Gtfoh!

Some are just so desperate, so desperate to leave Nigeria to any Oyinbo land. I was told about a man who left Nigeria for Albania. The man dey chop kwa-kwa for there now🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Albania is a very poor country in Europe.

To come and do what Exactly? His passport takes him to UK without visa and he has free 151 countries on his list, and he can visit Europe, the entire schengen area almost without visas, without being accosted at the airport, so if you say he will be back, i am asking you, to do exactly what? Suffer with you? after voting nonsense? After voting someone without direction? Are you mad? what kind of crack have you been smoking?

Enjoy your Renewed hope oga. Dont wish evil on someone who has escaped evil. Thank you very much.
