Reality dawning . His Excellency actually answered most of the questions with humor

Shop at mart instead of mall

Annoyingly, those who are privilege hardly patronize road side sellers. They keep on giving their money to the capitalist . Buying fresh fruits at road side compared to mall or mart is almost 10% difference

Lately, I have been deliberately buying some things at the road side just to boost the economy

Sometimes, different people do the same thing for different reasons. Not everyone that shops at malls do so for ostentation sake. Some people do it for hygiene sake. Roadside sellers will sneeze into the gutter or urinate or even go to a hidden corner to poo and return to their stand to continue selling without washing their hands. I have watched a food hawker using water from the gutter to wash the plates she was using to serve people. Actually, the water was rushing out of the gutter wall like tap water, and looked clean. Some of the customers (mostly bus drivers and bus loaders) that crowded her watched her use the water to wash the plates and afterwards accepted the food served in those plates.

A few days ago, I wanted to buy Dates from an Aboki. I sighted him while he was still a bit far and I was waiting for him to get to where I was standing so that I would patronise him. As he was coming, he stopped, packed his wheelbarrow, moved close to a gutter, urinated and returned to continue his movement without washing his hands. As he was getting closer to where I was standing, someone stopped him and he had to use a cup to measure tiger nuts into a waterproof bag for the person. This is the same person who just urinated without washing his hands. But if there's a shopping mall nearby and I ignore him to patronise the shopping mall, someone like you will condemn me for not patronising him.

I pity roadside sellers. I give them money when I can afford to do so. When I manage to buy things from them, I don't accept balance from them. But I don't have to express the pity to the detriment of my health.

Apart from hygiene, there is another concern. The ones that hawk cashew nuts are very mischievous and crafty. They use neat cashew nuts to cover very bad ones in the nylons or in the bottles. Once you open what you got from them, you will regret patronising them. If it is not wickedness, why do they carefully use neat ones to cover the bad ones? If you buy cashew nut from a shopping mall, the nuts inside will be as neat as the ones you could see from outside the transparent bottle.

The low class people in Nigeria should also start being responsible. They are mostly the ones producing the criminals, Oloshos and yahoo boys

What aan achievement of a most unfortunate kind.
This encapsulates the harsh reality of negative growth, stagnation, and outright retrogression in one breath.

For context and comparison, during Obasanjo's administration, Nigeria witnessed unparalleled economic strides: billionaires emerged in record numbers, the telecommunications sector experienced unprecedented growth, and the banking industry soared to the world stage to become one of the fastest-growing in the world. Fast forward to the current APC-led regime, and the narrative has changed dramatically.

A lot of people then moved from Honda to rolls royce and from commercial flights to private jets.

We now find ourselves in an era where survival trumps progress. The socio-economic landscape paints a grim picture: individuals once driving rolls royce cars now trading them for Honda,

Honda owners relinquish their vehicles for tricycles, tricycle owners trade down to motorcycles, and those on motorcycles abandon them to join the ranks of those trekking. This chain of devaluation mirrors a larger systemic collapse, a regression from ambition to subsistence.

When Donald Trump was announced the winner of the US presidential elections, Elon Musk’s net worth grew so as many other billionaires.

When Tinubu became president and started deforming the economy, Aliko Dangote and some other billionaires wealth reduced.

Is the country currently earning anything close to the oil revenue available to Obasanjo's administration?

.This is not merely a question of oil revenue; it is a testament to the power of assembling a competent and visionary economic team.

During Obasanjo's administration, his carefully selected team, armed with profound skilled knowledge into both global and local economic dynamics, laid the foundation for Nigeria's growth. Obasanjo understood the critical importance of leveraging human capital to drive systemic reforms.

Had he faced the current challenges in the telecommunications sector, now almost on the verge of collapse, Obasanjo would have brought in the best minds to reengineer and revitalize the industry.

under the principles of "Soludo-nomics," his administration turned a virtually inexistent and stagnant banking industry into a continental giant, driving stability and growth through consolidation.
Selling Nigeria's crude oil would have been the least of his challenges; with the finest experts at his disposal, he would have prioritized expanding and modernizing the oil and gas industry to empowering it to drive Nigeria'sgrowth.

The real issue with Tinubu’s administration is not a lack of resources but a mindset problem.
He is suffering from inability to recognize that solutions begin with building a competent and visionary team.

However, how Tinubu addresses this fundamental flaw remains the most pressing challenge.

Tinubu does not have the requisite manpower required to turn Nigeria around or drive it forward. He doesn't have a high traction team

Except if you are saying all the road sellers are not hygienic. I am not talking of food here/canteen, I am talking of food materials and others household items that cost ridiculously at mall but cheap at road side. I understand the quality part.

My only challenges with the road side sellers is them charging you ridiculously. I sometimes don't have issue with their charges as it might still be more fair than mall but there are times are also change it for them. They access you before giving you price

Cow skin for example is not that common in my location, I saw a place where they are selling, the first time, I bought like $1, I was the one even telling the guy that it's enough, the next time I went to buy $1.5, what the guy cut was just even too small for the first $1.

Everything depends on revenue, from oil or otherwise. Obasanjo was able to pay $12 billion in order to get some debt written off. Can you imagine what $12 billion dollars would do to the economy right now?

The country and the economy are in a more different situation than when Obasanjo was president. You can't objectively compare the two.
If the country doesn't have any money to play with you can bring all the experts in the world and the economy will still require some time to get back on track.

NIGERIA have entered one chance.
Tinubu do not have the ideas to take NIGERIA out of this present mess that he has put this country.
If we are to go by this Media chat, then thing's is likely to get worst.
Countries are running away from borrowing and foreign loans, but the man is boasting that borrowing is not criminal.
Expect more borrowing, expect more devaluation of the already weak naira, expect the worst economy.

The prospect of raising $12 billion is far-fetched without the right team equipped with the requisite skills and expertise to execute such a strategy.

In Obasanjo's era, the dynamics would have been starkly different. A single phone call from Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala to the World Bank, IMF, or JPMorgan Chase could have solvedproblems.

Under Soludo's leadership, the Nigerian banking sector would have been strategically positioned as one of the most rewarding investment opportunities on the global stage.

Meanwhile, Ernest Ndukwe would have marketed the limitless potential of Nigeria’s 5G telecommunications industry, enticing global players to seize the opportunity for transformative growth.

Such a visionary team, each operating at the peak of their expertise, would have made achieving $12 billion investment possible. The absence of such talent today shows the critical gap in leadership and strategy,

Lies from the pit of hell. Someone with 5 rolls royce each costing 300k dollars can never switch to Honda because of fuel. Las Las he will sell one rolls royce and use the money to buy a tanker of fuel.

Also Someone with 5 rolls royce definitely has tens of other luxury cars. Definitely lives in a mansion. Owns tens of properties home and abroad. If me that doesn't have rolls has not downgraded to Honda because of fuel. Someone with rolls royce can never downgrade

Obasanjo went for the best economic brains which happened to be mostly Igbos.Do you think it was coincidence? The APC regime afterwards that have been anti Igbos, do you think it is coincidence that the economy of Nigeria have been on a downward spiral? Take a look around Nigeria and tell me the ethnic group that mostly build wealth from ground up. It's a gift from Chukwu Okike Abiama.Managing an economy is not an all comer affair
