I have read all your pepper and garden egg writeups from Genesis to Revelation and you sef times without number have talked abt difficulties in seed preservation, grading and final germination on both local, EU/USA and the Cameroon variety.

Truth be told, pepper seed germination dey like 1xbet.
I am a pepper and ginger farmer too so I know what I am talking about.
One time we bought 2 cans of 50 g Avenir F1 Technisem original from the company with expiry date 2 years+, 1 can sprout more than 85%, the other can no reach even 10%.
We followed all the best practices, there were no ants, no reptiles, nothing but the 2nd can germination was very very disappointing.
We no go Technisem make dem refund us, we cut our losses and moved on.
So if you can accept my proposal that @Okoroemeka refunds you 50% of what you spent and let's move on like gentlemen and you delete this thread.
What say you?

Sell only seedlings or sign an agreement with any seed buyer that he will pay your money 100% before shipping and you will not be responsible if it germinates or not to avoid stories that touch the heart like this one.

I do not know the OP and have never communicated with him. However I also had issues with the pepper seeds I got from you earlier this year.

I bought red and yellow scorpion; Nsukka pepper. The pack of Nsukka (a small quantity in a different type of pack) opened and spilled before it got to me. I informed you about this.

The red and yellow scorpion seeds developed fungal attack (like in OP's picture) the yellow a few days after I bought them and the other about two weeks later, while still unopened and kept where I keep other seeds. My seeds from other companies including the okro I got from you are still ok as I write. This fungal issue caused me to plant all the red and yellow scorpion immediately and all at once unplanned as I noticed the issue. I had planned to do it in batches because of my limited space and also at the end of the year/early next year. However I had to rush to sow the seeds in June as I feared they would spoil further and no longer germinate by December.

I soaked for about two days with fungicides and had very good germination rate. I never mentioned this to you but I should have and am sorry to be bringing it out here like this now.

The third issue I have is that the fruits that came (from red and yellow scorpion) are a
wide assortment of pepper varieties: the red and yellow scorpion, and then small amounts of up to 3 or 4 other different varieties. I was suprised at this but went back to read your threads and discovered that you developed the yellow scorpion and probably the red scorpion varieties yourself. So I excused this.

Furthermore they are packed in another institutions packaging which I don't think is right.

The above are my experiences with my purchase from Okoroemeka.

He shouldn't try to compare his seeds with the like of technisem and co coz those are already big names and people already knew their standard so if their seeds doesn't germinate, in most cases the fault is from the dealers, not the companies.
There is temperature range for seeds storage and some dealers doesn't put it in their consideration.

Another thing is: I kept you updated with everything concerning this seed, before and after opening it, nurseries of different batches, and you were aware that not even a single seed sprouted. After all these, the most painful thing is at the end you turned around and accused me of being the one that ants spoiled the seeds.

I will just advise you to improve on your customer relation, sometimes in a case like this, even though the fault is from you but with the way you'll relate with the customer he/she will easily accept the lost and will still continue to patronize you.

I will also advise you to stop selling all the cracked seeds you're having in possession,just destroy them,don't be too smart,coz the people you'll sell them to won't be happy to lose their money in such way.

On sending another seeds to me, I already bought all the seeds I need for my project and I'm not ready to waste more money on your seeds, the money I'll still spend before getting the seed will close to buying another 50g(that won't give me any headache) here.

If you have a genuine intention of replacing it with good ones that will germinate, I have someone coming here between 2nd and 5th January, you can send it to him otherwise let's forget about it. Also you can't give me any condition before you will send me the replacement, it's what I've already paid. If you want me to agree to your condition before sending it then it means you've not learnt anything from this, and it's better you keep the seed and I'll forget what you did and move on like nothing had happened.

Hmmmm, very wrong advice.............. seeds will 4ever be a local business........ you can never know what happened to ur seeds during haulage thats why i refuse to take sides.....

I will rather advise that if anyone values his seeds such person take the pain to meet with him and collect the seeds......

If ur seeds are waybilled in Nigeria especially on interstate route and the seeds sprout and germinate, You know God is really on your side

I'm not sure the guy can wait till 15th. If you're willing to send it make it between now and 5th. Instead of spending another money on this seed it's better I just leave it for you. If you're sending it to Akure it's still better but sending it to me here I rather use the money I'll spend for delivery to buy another seed here.

This is 100% correct. I once bought 5g technisem bell pepper sachet and also watermelon but was disappointed because none grew. It was really painful because I discovered that the dealer sold "one month to expiry" seeds to me which were no longer viable for whatever reason. It taught me a great lesson😅.

At the bolded, I think this is the only way forward for now since the OP said he had gotten seeds from other source. Unfortunately cash refund seems to be against business norms of my SE people...igbos prefer replacement than refund. But some jinx are meant to be broken in the interest of peace and sanity. I mentioned earlier in my 1st post that in business sometimes, we should be ready to sacrifice some resources for good customers relations sake. Some losses are just inevitable in business for the sake of peace and keeping your customers. Over, I'm out of here.

Anyway he should do whatever he likes I'm not even demanding for anything again.

Im not trying 2 defend okoroemeka but the seeds posted are aged, ive nursed a batch like dat and i got good germination, not with seed tray though.......

This types of problems arises when we make market relationships personal.....

Like i said u dont know what might have happened in between but bringing this matter out into the court of public opinion with evidence of cracked seeds and one or two ants found in d sachets would definitely nail okoro emeka to the uninitiated as a scoundrel and a scammer.

On a personal note, I have a friend that nearly wanted to take down the company dat sells afadja, he had been having issues with seeds and always look like a game of try your luck, he went as far as stop buying seeds but seedlings until i spent a full day with him and then realization hit us fast that he was the one killing the seeds

How u may ask.....

A lizard got trapped in his car parked in full hot sun light and we left into d farm b4 we came back in about 2hr time the lizard died, temprature inside d car is extremely hot and he has d habit of keeping his seeds in his car till planting day, at times seeds stay with him 4 3 weeks b4 planting

His results have improved massively since changing this habit.......

Pls and pls let d op stop flogging this issue, we cant know 4 sure what each person intends at the point of sale...... but i know it was 4 good 4 the 2 parties involved

You're still playing the same game, I can clearly see that you're an unrepentant criminal.

I already made it very clear to you that if at all I'll take any replacement from you, you have to send it to Akure coz I'll never spend another 25-30k on a seed that may not even germinate. The time you're saying you'll send 50g on 15th of January I said it here that I knew you wouldn't send it you're just trying any means possible for the thread to be deleted then you later turn back, I bought 50g from you so any replacement should be 50g and I can only receive it when you send it to Akure latest by 5th. If at all I'm taking less than 50g or to forgive you without taking any, it'll be bcoz you've accepted your wrong and promise to stop scamming people in the name of selling seeds and seedlings.

Stop selling this scam you call scorpion, the hype you've given it nobody has come here to corroborate it, people that have spoken up said they saw irregular fruits, different fruits on the same plant, this is a result of replanting an hybrid seed(f2).

You just wash hybrid seeds and sell to people, you don't even know how to preserve the seeds.

Another thing is you always mention company company. You're the one selling the seeds stop doing as if the decision or responsibility lies on the so called company. You scammed me and I called you out now you're saying the company says this and that.
