😂😂 if you were an Argentine I guess 6 years ago you would have said Messi has nothing to prove to the world after probably winning all club trophies and stat padding whole of Europe and international football but people still kept on pushing him that he needed the world cup to prove himself even when everyone knows he doesn’t need to. But it pays of last world cup Messi practically single handedly won the world cup for Argentina

Midfield is begging for a strong battling type who will stop our middle of the park becoming express for opponents to easily circumvent and get to our shaky defense. Defense maybe needs the return of an experienced street wise performer. We need to return to that defensive stinginess we had at the AFCON. Attack already has enough talent people just need to step up and contribute. Ademola and Osimhen can't do it all.

At the end of the day the overall attitude of the players will determine if our flag will be hoisted at the WC in 2026. They have to be prepared to leave it all on the pitch.

Chrisantus seems the one that will be the most impactful that will add extra steel, compactness, and hopefully better ball retention.

I'm a big fan of Tino Anjorin but he needs to step up his stamina and pace. He has not wowed me yet in Empoli shirt.

Solanke was never interested, also, he isn't eligible anymore.

As for the CM position/B2B I think Chrisantus will be a perfect fit for that position. Robust like Onyeka but a better ball carrier, creator and goal threat in the opposition’s final third

that’s the problem, but I suggest he is given a chance in any of the team’s friendlies to see if he can get a chance in the team

Competition for spots in a team is healthy and will keep the players on their toes, no room for complacency

We have good midfielders but na myopic ones they always wail for xavi and zizou kinda ballers to man our midfield, if well checked it may be difficult to find a few African teams currently that boast of the quality we have in our midfield

Manchester United are the latest Premier League club to enter the race for Victor Osimhen ahead of next summer. Manager Ruben Amorim is facing challenges early in his tenure at United, and significant changes in attack could be on the horizon as early as January. This is particularly true given Marcus Rashford's increasingly complex situation in recent weeks, with PSG closely monitoring the developments.

As a result, Manchester United have requested fresh information on Osimhen. While no concrete steps have followed this initial inquiry, the club plans to keep a close eye on his performances in the weeks ahead. Chelsea also remain keen on the striker, especially given the favourable release clause for foreign clubs included in his most recent contract with Napoli.

Meanwhile, Osimhen's camp hopes Juventus will step up their interest after requesting new details at the end of November. With Dusan Vlahovic likely to depart - if not in January, then almost certainly in the summer - the Nigerian has emerged as Juventus's top target. The Bianconeri have already scheduled a technical meeting before the beginning of the January transfer window to finalise their transfer priorities. Alongside the search for a centre-back, securing a top striker like Osimhen will be a key focus in their planning

Well, I would not term anyone making that call myopic or deluded because we ain't creative enough even though we seem to have the right players in that midfield. I think our inability to be more creative is due to how we set up our teams. Our midfield is always porous and lacks both coordination and enough creativity.

rightly the issue is tactical and from the coach who is yet to figure out how to use what he has

If the NFF can get a decent coach who can figure out how to use what he has the midfield and team will do well generally

Wow wow.. His touches are sublime. Skillful, has this natural swagger. What I noticed more is, he can receive a pass under any pressure...

This is a very dope player 👍
