It always amuses me when some people see leaving Nigeria as some kind of achievement. 🤗

Some are just so desperate, so desperate to leave Nigeria to any Oyinbo land. I was told about a man who left Nigeria for Albania. The man dey chop kwa-kwa for there now🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Albania is a very poor country in Europe.

I hope Abike Dabiri will pick his call very soon.
why so negative?

That is your business. I say so because his utterances on You Tube appear to remarked Nigeria his country of origin. The Yorubas know how they refer to such fellow! I live in Nigeria and enjoying the best of life to the glory of God. I do not consider that anyone else www has a better quality of life than that currently available to me her in Nigeria. That is a very well considered opinion.

Taaah. Most of you are liars who form champions on a faceless platform. Dey act like una no dey shit for house. If we check now, chin chin no gum most of una.

Anybody can form anything here. If we should do verification now majority of you guys are still struggling to make ends meet. That's why una go see salary of 300k and go dey advise person to stay back in Nigeria and make it big as that seems to be big money to most of you and money is the only priority una get.

You guys should go get una life together and stop worrying about Tayo who had gotten his life together and having a fun filled day with his life.
It is true that people lie and overestimate their worth on social media, but if you don't have proof why will you say for certain that he lying. Na my issue be that. Wetin the guy talk sef, e say e don dey travel abroad for holiday since he was small. What is the big deal about that? Haba! Na poverty mindset be that abeg. It does not have to be his own money. If he was born to parents of means why will he not be going for holidays abroad since he was a toddler. At times you should be circumspect in your posts.

I go to all these places on holidays since a toddler so it's no big deal to me. Truth be told, I have never loved any of those countries because of either their weather, their to much privacy, loss in family bond. I prefer going on holidays and back home, Nigeria. One of the countries I can't stand during winter is Canada even some Canadians relocate for a short period to other countries during winter, their aged ones do this a lot.

Bottom line, it's no big deal to me. Nigeria is a lot of fun. If you have family members who were born in U.K or U.S.A you will notice that at most times, when the travel down to Nigeria they feel reluctant to go back.
Reluctant to go back ? After a week people from the diaspora can't stand that S-hole country. These family members abroad are Nigerian citizens and can easily stay. They're simply trying not to hurt your feelings.

Kemi left Nigeria. She has surpassed you and reached a point in life you are almost certain never to reach.

Helen Paul left and is a Professor in the US. With all the time you spend here defending the indefensible, we know you can't reach that height.

You don't even know who Tayo is nor did you watch the video before making your off point comments.

Tayo is the No 1 Nigerian travel blogger and his getting a passport from Portugal was the only way he could continue his dream.

To compare the hundreds of thousands of Nigerians that have left over the past twenty years and are doing well abroad to someone you know that went to Albania is all shades of stupid.

Albania is more or less a third world country. Anyone japaing there is someone who doesn't have what it takes to go to UK, Italy, Canada, US or Australia.

That you don't know anyone who left and is doing well is a function of your social class, not of the opportunities available abroad.

The people you know who left were not professionals or successful here so they are stuck doing odd jobs abroad.

Part of the GTB IT collapse today is directly related to the mass Japa of successive IT teams since 2022

This dude is already a millionaire from brand endorsements, being a travel YouTuber and he's got a St. Kitts and Nevis passport already which afford easy travel to a lot of countries without visa applications, so, what's it with his Lisbon, Portugal relocation? The language barrier is there as well, so, he'll have to start learning that language with the aid of Duolingo or attend a Portuguese immersion class.

Alright then, I just watched the whole video again and realized he indeed has personal reasons for moving to Lisbon, Portugal due to his health, productivity and international flight connectivity issues. I like the quaint convo and how Tayo's mum spoke to him in Yoruba (translated into English) over the phone about how life was like for him while growing up. It's his prerogative though since he's already a millionaire and can afford to travel and live wherever he desires. He actually said in the video that his application for permanent residence in South Africa got rejected and he didn't want to live in Canada because of the cold, the U.S. because you have to pay for everything, and the UK because it can get "boring."

For those who don't know yet, just know NOW that globally with the rise in inflation in many countries (due to the unintended effects of some of the global geopolitical tensions such as the one between Russia and Ukraine or Israel and Hamas spilling right into confrontations with Iranian-backed Hezbollah in Lebanon and the Houthis in Yemen), there's been a major spike in anti-immigration sentiments in Europe, Canada, and the United States, etc, and the original citizens of these countries don't want fresh people coming in and they ain't bluffing about it!

When fools talk. Strong reason you come from a Poor family. While other peoples parents were hustling, yours was frolicking and misbehaving. If your father was learned enough , he would have taught you morals, and even got rich, rich enough to help your miserable and misbehaving life, rather than teaching you that the way forward is insulting parents of other people to prove a point, and be on loose ends. If your father was rich, you wont be here insulting other peoples parents. My father and mom taught me morals. And they settled me after school and made sure my story was a better one.
I wont be responding to you again, You no worth am.

Pick call for what? Go and educate yourself on the benefits of an EU passport. More powerful than US, UK and Canada. Travel mobility, it's a top 5 rated passport.

Be there complaining about someone else's progress.

I have said it on numerous occasions that most people on this forum are bitter, frustrated, sad and ignorant. If most of the posters had taken their time to listen to what Tayo said on his blog, they would noted his key reasons for relocating abroad such as zero power, spending half his day in traffic and not many connecting flights.Nigeria was affecting his creativity due to the fact that he spends most of his time doing everything for himself. Tayo is a travel blogger. It is not easy traveling to many parts of the world from Nigeria due to the need for connecting flights. This is where Lisbon, Portugal comes in. Lisbon is strategically located at the southern western end of Europe. He can travel to many European countries at an affordable rate. Portugal is close to Africa thereby giving him easy access to the African market. There are many direct flights to the Americas from Lisbon. The weather in Portugal is better than the UK, Canada and most European countries.

You lots are just too emotional when it comes to the way people talk about Nigeria.
