Either she didn't know how hard she would have to work and save that £16k or she just agreed with him till she get what she wants. If he thinks she got off lightly, she can also pay him in kind by reporting him to the UK authority that he scammed his way into the UK.
They both effed up. He knew she was catching feelings for him, yet went ahead and saw her as business opportunity. Lol if a girl should receive a contract from an obvious admirer and later cries about him not wanting to continue with the deal cos she didn't play ball, shebi it's still the society that will ask her why she went ahead with the deal when she knew what he wanted after all?
I just believe they could have talked things over. The lady should explain her hardship in raising £16k and they resolve it some other way.
When she came with her £2k, he could have asked her to include half his school fees and continued with his life. Now that he kicked her out, what if she go ahead to report am?

I am in UNITED KINGDOM right now and a day i get 110 pounds after tax which is 230k naira. I work 5 days per week which gives me 1.15 million naira per week and 4.6 million per month now calculate that for 2 years the girl stayed in uk.. But a student can't make this that's why people go with spouse to work full time.

If it didn't benefit her then why did she come back to beg with common 2k pounds when the guy will easily untagged her n bring in his relative or wife?

Me from September this year to this month i have been able to saved and repay back a loan of 7k pounds aside house rent and running my family cos i be family person.

The lady was asked to pay 50% of the school fees and fee was 18k for the two years program and they paid probably 2k from Nigeria remaining a balance of 16k which she will pay 8k and 8k pounds at when the deal was entered was about 5m

Currently see someon selling a spot of Finland dependant visa for 6k pounds.. Thats over 12m and it's payment upfront.

Had it been i know na watin i for do leave school cos school na wahala.
The amount i quoted i earn is the minimum like its a crime for any employer to pay u that. Like jobs u do with a secondary school certificate not uni. So anyone working full time in uk that's what they earn

Back to the girl. The 2022 she came sponsorship jobs was everywhere so she knew she will get it with money saved or the place she was working promised her thats the reason she ghosted the guy but it turned out they eventually failed her or the huge amount she paid to get it was turn out to be scam like they ate her money she now have to fall back to her last option which is the guy she ghosted all those two years. The 2022 they came work was everywhere we heard companies move from street to streets looking for people to work with them unlike me that came in 2023 September. So she was in a better chance to earn and work than 2023 set

If u stay in this UK on full work visa no restrictions like spouse dependent visa my brother in that 24 month u can wipe poverty from ur lineage if u are prudent in savings... not to talk of getting sponsored thats another level. Nigerian are cunning and hardly keep to promises or a deal.

This is actually true life scenario and I'm posting for someone anonymously.

A guy and a lady planned to travel to the UK on a student visa together they contributed and paid the deposit. The plan and agreement was that the guy will study then the lady will work to help with the tuition fee payment of £18k 50-50. then after school everyone will go their way.

Before they traveled, the lady was subtly catching feelings for the guy but the guy was having none of it because it's just contract for him.

When they got to the UK last year, they both moved to different cities , the guy started school and she got a job and started working.

When it was time to pay the balance of the tuition, the lady refused to contribute to the payment. Claiming she doesn't have money and if she must pay it, she will have to move in with him and start acting like his wife.

The guy refused and reminded her about the agreement. She insisted on her own ideas. When she saw that the guy was not bulging she blocked him on all social media so he was not able to reach her for sometime.

When the pressure from school became too much , the guy started hustling day and night breaking his back and still covering his lectures and assignments.

The guy was tempted to remove her from his visa because he's the main visa holder and she's the dependant but he didn't , hoping that she will still fulfill her own part of the agreement.

She remained incommunicado untill the guy managed to pay off all the tuition, passed all his courses and finished school.

Few months after he finished school , she reached out and was acting all friendly. Apparently the company she was hoping to get a sponsorship from disappointed her so she was trying to buy her way into jumping on the 2 years post graduate visa the guy was about to apply for.

Remember, out of the £18k tuition , she only contributed £2k for the deposit and refused all further payments. Now she wants to give the guy £2k to take him on his post graduate visa.

The guy refused and removed her from his visa because of her wickedness and untrustworthiness.
Her visa expired and as she was not able to see a sponsor,she was asked to leave the country .now she's in Nigeria swearing for the guy. Threatening to report him to her village juju etc.

Do you think he did the right thing??

I don’t know how UK immigration works, but the fact they didn’t live together and she was removed from the visa after he graduated is sufficient backup.

My advice remain the same if u don't have 70% of ur school fees or know how to raise it at this point forget schooling in UK AS YOU ARE GAMBLING

The majority of Nigerians that came through the study route, did not do so having paid their full tuition and the bulk of them successfully did so and stayed lawfully in the country. You are not the first or an exceptional case.

The difference is many of them manned-up and took on the challenge with a positive attitude while you opened a thread singing like a canary, claiming there is no job in the UK and it was near impossible to do.

You're a very negative person, one that people looking to move forward should definitely avoid.
