Africa best RB ahead of Hakimi who was ranked as the 3rd most valuable player in Africa in 2024. These are the type of people to call me names when I voice the truth objectively. On this thread, people will disregard statistics, logic, facts and display emotional prejudice.
But you said Lookman was our best player at AFCON when CAF gave Ekong MVP

Charles too buying into my Uche as a Yaya Toure profile. Beautiful.
Uche is the next big thing to come out of Nigerian football

If played in his natural position on the pitch big clubs will come battling for his signature in a season or 2

Can you in all honesty say; AE hasn't done well?
Keeping in mind his results so far and the way we've played.
I never said AE failed with the team. He did decently well but is he the right man for the job?

Absolutely no 😊

Napoli have given the green light for Victor Osimhen to transfer in January.

His availability has already been made known to several Premier League clubs like Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Aston Villa, according to TBR Football

The striker’s price tag is 75 Million Euros or 60 Million Pounds.

There is a breakup clause in Osimhen’s loan deal to Turkish champions Galatasaray.

However, the player himself will have to sanction this early transfer after he had given his word to ‘Gala’ that he will not walk out on them next month.

Historically Chelsea and arsenal has a reputation for creating world class African or black strikers and i will sign for them.. but a Nigerian playing for a historical big club like united is just tantalizing

Let us have a comparison. Just to show how talented our golden generation was.
A midfield of okocha kanu and oliseh will not be outdone by a midfield of xavi, inesta and basquets.
The person who will collect the midfield from okocha has not been born. Talk less of when you put Kanu and oliseh.
It's my opinion but it's open for discussion
Okoca, kanu, oliseh vs
Xavi, iniesta busquets

lmfaoooo, both midfield may have the same talent but you can't get the same output from them, which makes the combination of the Spanish midfielders better than ours.

Just a question,do you actually believe this thing you wrote or is just cruise. You put a kanu with low defensive work rate, Okocha with low tactical discipline and Oliseh. Those 3 aren't even African top 3 talk less of worldclass. A good not even worldclass trio will overrun without breaking sweat.

Their ball retention is good. Oliseh will mark for them. You cant take the ball off pkocha anyway and kanu is creativity. I think they will match up.
As per okocha when it comes to midfield control its game over compared to any other African midfielder. No african midfielder can retain the ball like him. Maybe abedi per. Yaya toure or essein can't take the ball off okocha. Kanu creativity is something most African midfielders don't have.
These 3 can compete at a global level very easily. OK okocha when he was at Bolton took manchesyer United midfielders to the cleaners.

dribbling or doing skills that don't lead to goalscoring opportunities isn't taking to the cleaners. An average premiership midfield will overrun this trio.

Nwakali is different and he's good fortune would favor the Super eagles midfield.
If South Africa can play us with "local players" and we have a problem with one player from league one in d midst of 20 top flight player.
Haba!!! Reason am na.
The last match against Rwanda, Raphael and troost were responsible for the 2nd goal (dem suppose flog Raphael sef).
A Nigerian league player and a Nigerian coach gave us our last nations cup.

and who will do the pressing when the barca trio starts possession football? Kanu? Okocha? Abi you think it's easy to dispossess those 3 once they start with those Nigerians that are more of flair over pressing abilitieshuh

🚨🚨 FLASH!!

Nigerian government has set up a Presidential Support Group (PSG) to ensure that the Super Eagles 🇳🇬🦅qualify for the 2026 World Cup.

A sum of Three Billion Naira has been earmarked as financial support for the team to turn things and book the World Cup ticket.
Good stuff. Inasmuch as i'm not a fan of government subsidies and interventions for sports, as I believe that our sports must come to a point where it is either self-sufficient or funded by private donations, it's a positive thing regardless.

Merry christmas everyone🎄🎅

The game will be play your game, I play my game. What they will do, okocha and kanu will also do. So the scores will be 7 5. I score you score.
Anyway at least oliseh can mark

Anyway atlanta 96 proves the three of them could compete globally with any other midfielder. Also France 98 and nigeria vs spain. It will work

The ancient of days who became the infant of days.
The Word that became flesh so that He would dwell among us and bring salvation.
The prince of peace, to You be the glory forever and ever.

May the love and all the blessings that the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ brings be with us.

Merry Christmas to all of us.

Kanu would be more utilized up front .
It's matter of tactical formation our coach would deploy.
You have to bring Finidi and Amuneke into the equation.
Someone like Westerhorf might not even start Okocha,he would prefer to bring him in d second half.
Okocha should be made to play to instructions if he is to play for 90 minutes.
Whatever formation, those trio would certainly have better ball possessions.

Nigeria winning the game would also be determined by the moment of brilliance just like the Atlanta '96 and France '98.

Only France Zidan's led and Brazil Ronaldinho's led midfield would effectively battle that Spanish midfield trio.
