One Lebanese consultant I worked under, here in Nigeria, said that we Nigerians read books too much for reading sake.
For them, they go straight into construction, machinery right from Secondary school. Everyday, after school, they are at the workshop. That's how they get experience and start running industry then come here to Nigeria to setup up their company and employ YOU Nigerian with PhD to work UNDER them..
When I lived in UK, everybody was working. I met people that were not interested in University at all, working in same office I was working. Some were even my senior.
Face work directly and stop using nonsense university and PhD to dodge responsibility.

I think my only regret would be listening to all those "Entrepreneurship Bullshit". Two years ago, I was doing fantastically well with my salary job. My life was simple and I had my future figured out.

Fast forward to when I entered the "Business World", everything has become a "mad race" ever since. I now have to work twice as hard, I practically don't have time for anything again. I've lost many social connections, some great friends and even my inner peace. Yes, I'm making money but at the expense of what?

My worries and fear of the future keep increasing every day. The uncertainty of life now freaks me out. I barely relax any longer. I'm constantly planning five steps ahead now. I wish I can go back to that my "simple life".

Lots of confessions, well the only opportunity I had to travel to the UK I used it collect passport via serving in the British army.

So young folks schooling in the UK you can give it shot, I don't know if it's still on tho. Nigeria is a common wealth country and your visa enabled you meet other requirements.

Especially those studying engineering or in the medical field, it's an avenue to get the UK residence. I got mine years ago, so I can go and come niaja as I want. Currently in Nigeria tho because running business here is lot easier.

I am indeed grateful to God for my health. But for you to have arthritis in your 40s(quite young) is weird. Most especially if you lived a healthy lifestyle when you were much younger. Genetics might probably be at play here.
