Work on your intelligence department first, acquire more equipment and send your men on training to acquire more skills on intelligence gathering first. You keep buying attack helicopters and fighter jets only to bomb innocent civilians. Haba naa. |

Attack helicopters are way better for this domain of war. Jets have a higher margin of errors associated with it operations, now the question is if these terrorists have surface to air capabilities to knock out the attack helicopters. FPV should be a better option, the Ukrainians can train some units on how to use it, since they trained the Sudan army on the use of FPV drones and it helped balanced the fight against the murderous rapid response forces with their backers Wagner. |

ViceGovernor:Using machine gun to kill a mosquito. Whatever happened to drones? |
| Re: Insurgency: NAF To Acquire More Attack Jets, Helicopters – CAS by ViceGovernor: 1:47pm On Dec 27, 2024 |
DIVINEEVIDENCE:Stop being sentimental. In warfare especially the 1 against terrorism the objective, is to eliminate all targets by whatever means necessary.....do you know why? It is because a message of deterrence has to be sent to other intending parties that their planned actions will be met with stiff resistance otherwise they will overrun an entire govt e.g Syria if Assad had ordered his warplanes to crush the rebels when they started small he would be in power today and nobody will even think about joining them because na fighter jet go bomb and burn them like dodo. I know you stay in the North East and you people are angry your brothers are being bombed from the sky.....but I don't see you people complaining or speaking against them when they behead people, kidnap hundreds of people, attack military facilities and prisons. So you have no right to say pim when the consequences of their actions come back to haunt them. Tell your brothers if they don't want a machine gun in a knife 🔪 fight they should put down their knives and nobody will bring machine to kill them period. |

ViceGovernor:What you have in Nigeria is terrorism and banditry where terrorists build camps in villages and live among natives. It requires surgical or precision strikes not all out strafing of towns and villages. Look at Israel's campaigns in Gaza which is actually a conventional international war yet you find them surgically picking out targets and bombing facilities only when its necessary. E remain to use ballistic missiles in the North. Deploying fighter jets over terrorists who use neither tanks nor APCs nor gunboats nor helos. We too dey overdo. |
| Re: Insurgency: NAF To Acquire More Attack Jets, Helicopters – CAS by ViceGovernor: 4:14pm On Dec 27, 2024 |
DIVINEEVIDENCE:You are kidding me with the "we dey overdo" right? The bandits and terrorists you people want the military to handle with levity, I would remind you that under the previous administration gworro chewing mallam they routinely shoot down helicopters with surface to air missiles (SAMs) even the terrorists in Gaza do not have such weapons, where the fvck did they get it from? Maybe it's until they start buying fighter jets too before we take them serious. We see them snapping pictures with Panza tanks and (APCs) inside the forest and you want our soldiers to go in there with Hilux abi 😁 we know una plan but e no go work. The bombing airdrops will continue by the grace of God, if the villagers decide to let bandits mingle with them it can only mean they are fully in support therefore they are accessories after the fact, they are collaborators not collateral damage so they totally deserve to be blown to smithereens then the other villages would wise up and chase them out or direct the military to their hideout but instead they are shielding them. Nigeria is even taking it easy on them if it were Israeli defence force the moment they see it on satellite that you habour terrorists whether in a hospital, a hotel, a mosqué, an airport, residential estate, government embassy they will bomb you all e no concern them. If Nigeria copies the IDF template for fighting terror I can bet my left eye that within 3 months all our roads will be safe to travel at any time you like....the only danger will be the FG licenced and uniformed armed robbers. |

Truth be told. Its not by spending billions to acquire military hardware that will end terrorism ooooo. Spend half that money providing basic ammenities and employment oppurtunities for the citizens and this nonsense of banditry, kidnapping, terrorism will dissipate within the twinkle of an eye |

The Aermacchi M-346 Master is a family of military twin-engine transonic advanced jet trainers and light combat aircraft. Originally co-developed with Yakovlev as the Yak/AEM-130, the partnership was dissolved in 2000 and then Alenia Aermacchi proceeded to separately develop the M-346 Master, while Yakovlev continued work on the Yakovlev Yak-130. The first flight of the M-346 was performed in 2004. The type is currently operated by the air forces of Italy, Israel, Singapore, Greece, Qatar, Turkmenistan and Poland. Since 2016 the manufacturer became Leonardo-Finmeccanica as Alenia Aermacchi merged into the new Finmeccanica, finally rebranded as Leonardo in 2017 source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alenia_Aermacchi_M-346_Master |
