This is totally wrong, there are loads of degree that you use outside. What we do abroad is an upgrade, Do you think doctors go back to UNi once in the UK?
Even your BAM Degree is useful as well as your teaching Degree. As we speak there are online courses you can do whilst in Nigeria that offers you direct employment once you get here, the simplest one is CCTV public space and CCTV private space, hats the lowest one I know personally.

very relevant. What Nigerians often lack is the work culture specific to their target countries. Every Western country has its own unique work culture, which individuals must learn and adapt to in order to integrate successfully into those societies.

If Nigerian certificates were truly irrelevant, why are they accepted for advanced studies, such as master's or PhD programs, in these same countries? Moreover, some professors from Nigerian universities go on sabbaticals to teach in these Western institutions. These are the same professors who teach us at home, yet we turn around and claim our certificates are not valued abroad.

Additionally, there's an underlying dynamic where Western countries continue to perpetuate white supremacy, maintaining an imbalance between themselves and developing nations.

Anybody can do that job infact that is equivalent to a factory job if you don't know only this time you be more careful because you handling a human life and can be arrested and you go to jail if you flop because it is stated there in your agreement you sign before you start working.

If you want to be a doctor in these countries, you have to apply for a medical or a nursing program/ degree where you undergo the process from the begining according to the countries teaching regulations and standards, pass the necessary exams, go for your training practice, write another exam if you fail you have to retake it which happens very often because I have friends who it has happened to. Then luckily you pass them you go under the process to be a certified nurse or doctor depending on the field you choose.

Many people with engineering degrees in Nigeria got jobs directly in Canada and USA....

I am a physiotherapist, I got a job in UK directly from Nigeria in 2022 and I moved there and I work with NHS, I only applied for a license to work as a physiotherapist in UK. That is all I did.

I have met so many doctors that studied in Nigeria, working as doctors here, they didn’t have to go to any more school, they just wrote the licensing exams to practice which is standard.

I have countless number of nurses who got job directly from Nigeria.

Some uninformed people who never left Nigeria or visited any embassy will sit down in their bedrooms and typing rubbish with confidence. How do you explain the countless degrees we attest at ministry of foreign affairs in Abuja and different countries embassies if our certificates cannot be used outside Nigeria? Nigerians are heading countless global companies abroad with certificates they acquired from Nigeria Universities. In the oil sector, there are lots of Engineers and Technicians working in foreign countries with Nigerian certificates. These jobs were applied and acquired while living in Nigeria. I work in different countries with only certificates I acquired from Nigeria Universities. I even attended a remote interview with a foreign global company domiciled abroad for an expat position last week with my
certificates from Nigeria. Nigeria certificates are equal to their counterparts, though a certificate is just a piece of paper if it can not be defended by the owner.

Physio is BIG biz in the Uk cos of sports and injuries. There are loads of opportunities, this is where Nigerians lack information. You need to do your research well. I started work in the Uk with my 1st degree b4 I did something else.

stop saying things you don't know anything about. I have many people (nurses) and doctors that secured jobs as doctors and nurses from Nigeria before relocating. Even my sibling is one of such.

Stop 🛑 speaking on what you don't know about,for you can't seat in your comfort zone and conclude for millions of people, unless you carries out your investigations,backed by Statistical bases!
Reason( s) why some European, American or Canadian Universities don't like taking Nigerian Certificates seriously is because of Past Time Wastages by ASUU's involvement in School Academic Calendar Years,where a Course of 4 years, suddenly becomes 6 yrs or 7yrs to finish.
But in their end,4yrs Course is 4yrs and nothing like extension of time or any University lingering on due to incessant Strike by the School Authority!
You can't blame the Western Countries for our own self inflicted injuries,on our Youths.
Today,the Western Countries are changing towards Nigeria Educational System,as they read,see and get information through internet verification.e.g I know of many Nigerians-who were given admission in Canada- a Doctor here to Canada,a Student, without any IATS,to US,3-Others to Britain this year, without any String attached!
Besides,most Students that goes for additional requirements is having a low grades qualifications from Nigeria,!

Sorry to disagree with you but your comment is not really correct.

Just to let you know that our certificate is useful outside Nigeria. Many who get job offer straight from Nigeria before leaving don't go to school again, they got the job with their Nigeria certificate.

Some got transfer from their company in Nigeria to abroad, they continue with their Nigeria certificate.

If you get express entry to Canada or Australia, you have already converted your certificate to their country equivalent before leaving Nigeria, so you don't need to go to school again.

Many people who look for student visa to japa are the ones that will need to go to school again after getting abroad. Since it is study you apply for, so you have to go to school when you get there.

For me, Nigerian degrees even if FIRST CLASS it's not actually useful outside Nigeria. Mostly in western countries i.e USA Canada Luxembourg etc.

That's why when people who relocate to this country who want to push on their professional careers always go back to school in those country.
Reason I guess is based on their educational and teaching standard requirements.

Medical professionals like Nurses, Physios, Medical Lab Scientists get jobs in the USA, Ireland, Australia, Canada, and UK directly from Nigeria, they only need to evaluate their school documents, register with the foreign professional body, and/or sit for professional exams like NCLEX, ASCP, PLAB, USMLE, CSMLS, depending of the profession.

Some regulations are more stringent or costly than the others. When you get there you are given hands-on orientation training, residency or internship, if you fail the professional exam in places in like Canada, then you may be asked to go back to their own school for retraining. Canada is the most stringent for medical professionals. Every other country will ask you to resit the exam. In UK and Ireland, Nigeria Medical Lab. Scientists and Physiotherapist and Radiographers don't even write any professional exams. Just get your documents to the UK HCPC for evaluation and accreditation.

Just look at look how you sat down and started spreading your ignorance like COVID-19 virus. Your name starts with word 'info' but you are so uninformed but very quick to give information that you are not qualified to give.
