This is why Nigeria won't be better. Of all the comments none responded with solution to at least help others who may fall in such calamity in the near future.

Well, here is my advise to anyone reading this and for the purpose of protecting yourself. Inculcate these habits whenever you're in Nigeria:

1. On lonely roads, while traveling whether in commercial or private car never agree to the car or bus driver to stop for any reason until you get to a crowdy location.

2. Be quick to pull out your phone to record videos whenever you're with any police officer and ensure you let them know it's a live video record. If they argued or intend to make fuss out of this, tell them to charge you to court.

3. Have a lawyer in retainer and involve him or her in whatever you do as business. This is for the purpose of protecting you from being rugged by sharks in the Nigeria business world.

4. Dress like a responsible individual. Dress corporate if possible unless you're an artist.

5. Speak like an informed individual and maintain calm demeanor all the time. Don't project a clueless look; it helps a lot.

6. Be daring as this helps you to break from plans of corrupt practices by the police as most times their plans are designed for the clueness and people who lack confidence.

7. Don't go out without no major purpose.

Let me reiterate: The Nigerian security agencies in the south-east are nothing but a occupation force....a gang of money-grasping and ill-bred thugs only interested in making money from their posting in the region! Accusing innocent Igbo of being 'IPOB' members is now the norm, and it's what the Nigerian army, police and DSS resort to when they feel the urge to waste more Igbo lives to show they're 'working and confronting the 'terrorists' in the region! They know that once they tag those they've arrested or murdered as being 'IPOB members' that their boss and a certain set of bigoted, naive and daft Nigerians will lap it up without question!

You are right, but I still put some blame on your people because

1. The policemen doing this Rubbish are mostly from the south

2. Your people don't like law enforcement jobs, unlike the north...you can't harass boys in the north the way police harass boys in the South because in the north, for every household, there is at least one law enforcement officer who they will quickly call or use to threaten any law enforcement officer trying to do anyhow.

Nigeria uses static IP addressing if the Police are serious even funds in a web3 decentralized wallets can be traced.

Tinubu should tackle banditry in the Land. Not to be left to states.

He came to power to right the wrongs. He should ensure things that stigmate the growth of Nigerian state are tackled. By so doing, there will be sense of belonging.

First,he should demilitarize southeast region. A visitor to the region will think the region is at war. Check points dot all over the place. The check points should be dismantled to ensure Free movement of goods services.

He should release Nnamdi KANU at this festive period in the spirit of national belonging. Where the people feel alienated in the scheme of things, they can't have the spirit of national pride.
Nnamdi KANU was arrow ahead of marginalization struggle. He was renditioned from Kenya since 2021. Court freed him of treasonable charges but he's still under incarceration. DSS custody.

Tinubu should be magnanimous to release him as he did to others under EndBadGovernance inNigeria protests.

Yaradua reached out to aggrieved segments of the society, especially Niger Delta militants without applying gunboat diplomacy. Till today, there is peace in Niger Delta. Such template could be applied to tame southeast rebellion. Not arm twisting or threat.

Lack of peace in the region is the cause of Army/police brutality, extortion and banditry we are witnessing today.

Tinubu,you came to right the wrongs. Tackle the wrongs headlong without ethnicity or political coloration.Dont treat them with disdain because they didn't vote for you.

Nigeria is not moving forward because of cronyism, groveling bigotry and nepotism inherent in the conduct of public affairs.

Those guys are more sophisticated and knowledgeable than you thought the mistake the guy made is to leave his money on an exchange wallet where it will be more visible when accessed he should have hidden it in metamask wallet and changed the network to another one without any valuable crypto coins in it.
