Yes its safe. Note that your tbills fund won't be with I-invest but rather with CBN.
vanvickie:
Thanks for your reply, however, I am a bit skeptical about the I-INVEST APP, is it safe to use, are the funds as safe as they would be if is done via the bank?

I have and the interest rate is a bit higher than TBills plus it is automated just like Piggyvest. Also it is a licensed Microfinance Bank.

I've being using for over 7 years. It's like they are re-selling it from their ownership-no upfront interest. It's high liquidity in case of preliquidation is why I always prefer it over that of CBN and banks.

The days of high returns on Treasury Bills are dead and buried.

People here should look out for the new Finance Bill about to be presented to the national Assembly by the FG.

The amount spent by the FG in debt repayments is too high and they cannot afford to allow interests on govt borrowing to be high again.

Time to play the NSE , NYSE, Cryptos or just be ready to accept low rates on your TBills.

If i was offered 19 percent when i invested in Tbill, and rate dropped along the line. The day my contract expires and rate. Is 9 percent, will i be expecting 9 percent profit or still 19 percent?

Me that missed 359 days at 21% today because I am not in town and my phone with app is not opening.

New year should wait, the second fruit will be used appropriately when the rest have finished their celebration.

Dear Afrinvestor,

Please be informed of the recent delisting of Flourmills of Nigeria (FLOURMILLS) from the Nigerian Exchange and the payoff of shareholders. As a result, shareholders are to be paid N86 per units held as at 10th Dec 2024.

What this means for Your Investment:

This means the total units of the Flourmills shares you own multiplied by N86 less 10% for withholding tax (WHT) would be paid to all existing shareholders of Flourmills as at 10th Dec 2024.

For instance, you had 10,000 units, multiply by N86 is equal to N860,000 less N86,000 (10% for WHT) is N774,000. The shareholder would be paid N774,000.

If you had flourmills shares as at 10th December 2024 and have not received the payoff funds, kindly reach out to Atlas registrars via email at registrars@atlasregistrars.com. For details, please CLICK HERE to read the public notice by Flourmills.

We understand that changes like these can raise questions or concerns, and we are here to support you. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service team at connect@afrinvest.com

Best regards,

Yes, Huge funds can be saved on it as there is no limit to the amount you can save. They even have various levels of interest based on the amount you stash.
