Now i am not for or against any party here cos the details aren't that clear but these adherent sometimes behave like they are forced or hoodwinked to do the things they do in church.. Like them force una?? If your mind isnt wholistically in something why border doing when u arent forced and have a choice to leave or stay away.. Now on the issue, if the woman informed the pastor after mistakenly sending the funds and he refused then the pastor brought the embarrassment upon himself and this is also why characters like this are seriously undermining the church .

There is no induced forced or mistaken seed giving in normal church that is led by the Holy Spirit.

In my church we refund those erroneous transfers. One lady asked for a refund of NGN225k and we obliged[b][/b]. So nothing new here.

Wow! These is not supposed to be an issue now it's so sad the man is still trying to use the bible to justify his wrong doing.
These happen in my church sometimes last year it is the finance department that called the attention of the pastor and the person was invited and he said it was a mistake but he doesn't know how to go about it and instantly the money was refunded.

Extremely shameful from the pastor n church. Such a pastor is an error.

We are even talking about the house of God whr cheating is not allowed. The moment she approaches the pastor for a reversal, he ought to inform the necessary persons and institute a reversal process. This is just common sense. If I'm a church member in that church, I will never pay a dime as tithe again.

But if you need the church, you go there n seat on chairs they bought with other people's tithe, take communion too, enjoy the sound system other peoples tithe was bought with. The sensible thing to do is establish proof the money was transferred in by the persom demanding the partial refund and transfer it straight away. The lady might just be a yahoo girl who moved funds from a mugu/maga into church account and wants to collect 90% without leaving a trail. It might be a trial for a larger sum of money. The identity of the account owner is key.

Oga pastor can simply tell off the woman that it's god's money and it has entered god's account, so there's nothing any human being can do about it. Church aside, there are always protocols involved in reversing money paid into a bank account. The bank will always investigate both parties to be sure such transfer was genuine error.
&it becomes more difficult if one party claims it was not in error.

Let me ask you. If you sow a seed of 100k in church today, & the next day, you change your mind, can you claim a refund from the church?
