This inclusive economic principle flourished in Europe while the rest of the world got stuck with extractive economic system- you work hard but the ruler collects most of the gain.
In Europe, an intelligent person can come up with a disruptive innovation that could alter the dynamics of the society e.g industrial revolution. The rest of the world need to ask the king for permission for anything disruptive and if he says no, that's it.
