Happy new year guys.

So some months back, I left home and relocated to another state (Lagos). But since I've been here, I have been unable to make new friends ( both males and females).

I'm always on my own feeling really lonely sometimes. This is worsened by the fact that I'm an introvert.

How can I solve this issue guys? Your contributions will be highly appreciated.

You shod have asked before relocating. Ajegunle or oshodi is the best place for an introvert, not some housing estate

If you need friends, you should also be friendly

Once in awhile, step out no matter how much of an introvert you are.

If you are on the island, go to the beach.
There is no way you will be playing in the water and someone will not say something to you. If the person is appealing to you, ask for his / her contact

That will compel you to talk to people and get to know them better. It would take more of your time, but every single time it requires from you would be spent in the company of people who will be talking to you and you to them.

If you're working in a visible place like usher, choir, media, it would also make you recognizable and people may approach you first to say hi, especially if you wear a smile.

If you're a worker, you might also have to go on assignments outside the church that would require you to meet people — for example, organizing an event in the church.

And of course, if you're meeting people, you have the chance to make friends.
