SINisSIN:1. Every bull cycle is different from the previous. 2. btC futures with reasonable leverage is far more rewarding than most alts. It is safer too. Gains from such trades can be used to buy more btC on spot for hold. 3. Patience pays. It's better to wait forever for a good entry on a good project than dcaing. WAGMI |

I don't know for others but for me, my best entry for any coin i want to buy is when BTC is on -8%-15%. I have been getting it right with this method. sweetveek: |

It's a new year, which means your previous age is now obsolete, you'll be another year older. If nothing motivates you to be better than you've ever been, I don't know what will. I won't have my birthday until the ember period, and I added one year to my age now, and it felt awkward for real for real. You can be better, even if you are a hodler of crypto, you can add futures swinging to your toolkit while analyzing only the weekly or daily candles for entry. This doesn't or affect your normal daily routine while also making you a better trader and not some coin speculator only. Happy new year guys. I hope we score all our goals this year, or most of them. |

Tflex01:its funny how you think there are "bad projects" out there. I don't believe there are bad projects especially those in bin.ance , it all boils down to your entry price. Imagine those who bought icp when it was newly listed would call it a bad project while those who bought after it has dumped and then it pumped would say otherwise |

SINisSIN:what about in a bear season where btc dumps like 8-15% back to back? What do you do then? Do you know that btc can dump 15% and recovers the 15% while the coin you bought when btc dumped 15% won't recover/pump with btc and then when next btc dumps, it goes lower than your entry? |
| Re: Crypto Currency Investors Thread by SINisSIN(m): 10:01pm On Jan 01, 2025 |
I have always traded Pepe/Sol mostly though and these ones do recover along with BTC. Btw when BTC dumps about -15%, some of these alts are already doing -25-30%. There is no way I will enter at this level and won't see profit. sweetveek: |

sweetveek:I'm new to crypto, I trade forex majorly and BtcUsd on mt5, but the spreads is a bit of disadvantage, reason why I started looking into futures trading on binance after I saw the almost zero spread on their crypto pairs. I'm too comfortable with the mt5 platform I make use for trade execution on forex that transitioning into binance is still feeling like some hectic task for me. |

SINisSIN:depending on what you see as profit sha bcux most alts won't even recover 15% from that 25% from thier low |

sweetveek:Not at all, what would the question be by the way? |
| Re: Crypto Currency Investors Thread by SINisSIN(m): 11:04pm On Jan 01, 2025 |
I don't trade anyhow alts. For instance, I entered Pepe at 0.000009. I don't think Pepe will see this figure this season again and this was when BTC dips to around 50k. It's my personal trading strategies because I don't trade everyday. If BTC looses -15-20% and you enter any of the top 50 alts, it might not be the best entry but it will be very close too. No one can get the perfect entry but you can get a good entry. sweetveek: |

I might be wrong but we have built a strong base this past week around the 90-92k region these past few weeks. As inauguration date gets closer, the narrative is likely to change as most people are expecting a dump, we might see the opposite. For those interested in ethy, a lot of buzz has been going on about ethy & 2025. It has held the 3100 level well because institutional investors bought at that level 2 weeks ago (over $2B). A good entry point before the major move to ATH

SINisSIN:My greatest mistake is that even though I carefully studied and followed the circular movement in the previous cycle, I still doubted it. In real-time, I would second guess myself, change my decisions multiple times, and ultimately lose track every single time. Interestingly, the places where I decided to stick to the historical patterns are currently performing better than the points where I deviated and made changes. The second mistake I made was swearing off leverage entirely. It took me some time to realize that a properly managed 3x leverage position has a low risk of liquidation. To avoid leverage, I worked over 2,000 hours of overtime at my job and used the earnings to buy crypto with cash. Fortunately, it took just one trial for me to realize the flaw in my approach. My key lessons are to remain open minded and to trust historical patterns. I am now documenting what to expect in future cycles and noting events that are likely to repeat themselves. For example, during the year of the halving, people often sell around Christmas to buy gifts and to log losses for tax purposes, which causes volatility. Therefore, the best time to take a 3x leverage position on a solid project would likely be the first week of January in the following year (like now). And the direction is almost only up. |
