OP there is a crisis of work ethic in this current generation. They are cooked because when they see what the real work involves, they quit. Work to them is the glamour of social media content and I blame technology for this because it has replaced their desire to solve problems to tools. Only if they got into the lives of the content creators, they will know that there is no work without hard work. Even cam girls, Yahoo boys and scammers still have to put in some work in their evil trade before they reap reward. This life is not all enjoyment. The worker has ghosted you. Cut your losses and move on.
