I made a tuition deposit payment to Flywire on December 24 (last Tuesday). I called them on Monday, and they informed me that they’re still waiting to hear back from their local payment processor, Dlocal. Has anyone experienced this before? If so, how many days did it take to get resolved? |

Gkok:1. Can they use a new account for the purpose of pof, They plan to open it this January and then run it for 4 months (may). Then I submit application June beginning. That will bring up suspicion why do that when they already have an old account which will look better 2. Based on the bank reference letter stating they jst opened the account Jan 2025 will it raise any concern. YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES 3. They plan to first fund the account with 25/30m then subsequently I will be adding 2m every month or 3m every 3 weeks…will it raise any suspicion cos I plan to fund the account with a total of 40m. if it's still your parents account you are talking about No it will not raise any suspicion as long as you can show where the money is coming from but you have to show proof that the money came from your dad's business or salary If you want to use your account please don't it's suspicious you have to show proof of how you made that money 4. Which is advisable? I have an account with the bank that wants to offer me pof at low rate and I have been banking with them over a year…will it be good I use mine or I should let my parents create a new account and run it as they are a better proof of sponsor ? Your parents are better but quick question. What do you mean offer you POF at low rate 👀👀 Can you explain better? My personal option and that's same thing I did back in 2017 Let the whole money come from your parents account and let them be the main sponsor. You don't need to creat a new account. |

1. They can use their existing account instead of a new account. 2. Bank Ref is not mandatory, so if you still want to use the new account, don't submit a bank ref letter 3. If you want to fund the account, ensure proof of the source of funds. Gkok: |

Gkok:Wait I have gotten confused 😕 Remind me Why you don't want your parents who already have a business account with a proof of that business to be your sponsor? |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by JMG12: 3:14pm On Jan 02, 2025 |
Using an existing account you, fund the account and proof the source of the funds you don't need to wait for 4 months to build the account. Gkok: |

frank2zee:I didn’t log out from my personal laptop from my Amnotapervert account, and I saw this comment. I just came across it because, yes, I like *wahala*. 😂😂 Note: This post will trigger people who deal with fraudulent documents and dislike the truth. I was generally unaware of the practice where people pay for proof of funds (POF) to banks. After doing a bit of research, I found it absolutely mind-blowing. It now makes sense why someone would pay a "Facebook visa agent" between 2 to 5 million naira for a study or visitor’s visa—applications that cost about $100 to $200 CAD. 🤔 This isn’t even for permanent residency applications! The case is crazy. Now, I understand why FlowMama was upset when I criticized someone who mentioned they used a "Facebook visa agent" and got a 5-year ban. She said I have no right to question or talk since I’m not funding anyone’s visa. My God, I get it now. So, banks charge people to create fake POF for visa applications? I can’t believe what’s happening. I see these Facebook visa agents advertising "account statements/POF as part of the visa package." No wonder some people were upset when I talked about the risks of using Facebook visa agents and getting banned for submitting fake POF documents. Well, if you use a Facebook visa agent and end up with a 5 to 10-year ban, don’t blame people like me for speaking the truth. For instance, the United Kingdom reportedly issues bans of up to 10 years. Yet, some will still attack others for exposing fraud. Remember: If you’re submitting POF for any visa category, make sure it matches the actual source of your funds. Many agents will mess you up, and you’ll end up paying the price. The situation is worse than I imagined. Advice: - If you pay a bank for POF, ensure you have: 1. At least $20,000 CAD when coming to Canada for living expenses, rent, and food. Most new students struggle to find jobs, especially since certain sectors are dominated by Middle Eastern and South East Asian workers. 2. An in-demand skill to secure a job after school and improve your chances of getting permanent residency (PR). Without it, you’ll struggle. 3. Your tuition fully paid or ready to be paid in your bank account. Otherwise, you’ll suffer like others who came unprepared. Now I see why FlowMama was triggered when I said Nigerians submitting fake documents make it harder for those following the right path. 🤣🤣 And when you call out fraud, people respond with, “No be everything person dey put online oo.” 🤐🤐 Soon, Canada might introduce something like Germany's blocked account requirement for student visas. Now I get why FlowMama was upset—frustration over visa rejections and my stance against fraud. To Those Considering Canada: Don’t be discouraged, but please do it legally. Ensure you have the skills and funds required, or you’ll suffer. The system will catch up with fraudulent practices eventually. Here’s a reality check: - You can’t work to pay tuition. - If you try to cheat the system, it won’t end well. As for me, I’m logging off now. I’m done. I promise. 😂😁 If you don’t like the truth, feel free to fight with your keyboard. A Quick Note About Me: to piss Flowmama and Badadvisor off 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😜😜😜😜😜😜😜 - I live in a $650,000 three-bedroom townhouse with an extra basement room, 56 minutes from downtown Toronto. - My sister and I co-own an investment property in Toronto worth about $810,000 CAD. - At 31 years old, I make $110,000 CAD annually, while my wife, 27 years old, makes $95,000 CAD. - We own two SUVs (Toyota and Hyundai), all paid for in cash. Yes insurance is crazy but that's the GTA as a whole. Don't worry Badadvisor when I start building my house in Nigeria I will invite you for housewarming party 😂😂 since you said everyone should invest in Nigeria. I have land already - My wife (Nigerian) and I, along with our child, have Canadian passports. Life is good when you do things the right way. One last thing: when you start making money, make sure you marry wisely. A bad marriage can ruin everything you’ve worked for. See you when Pierre Poilievre becomes the new Prime Minister. Until then, goodbye.

Good day all! I just stumbled on this thread. I want to know: is there anyone who applied for Memorial University, Newfoundland? Fall 2025 admission. How is life in that province, especially job prospects? |

Good day. Please I want to ask questions. My case is long please bear with me. 😁 I'm a medical doctor graduated 2023 and my husband is a medical doctor too graduated 2022(we got married this last Dec). We applied for masters in public health separately at Simon Fraser University and Memorial University of Newfoundland for fall 2025. We need the masters, not just as a means of Japa but also to help us in our career as we both want to venture into public health. 1. Will it affect visa application as they will wonder why 2 married ppl both want to do masters? Cos it's 2 different study permits Or should we not mention anything about each other at all? 2. I'm being sponsored by my father. He has the full funds in his account. He's self employed and a lawyer with his own chambers. Please what are the documents we need to start getting ready to support the proof of funds on my dad's part now. I also have 2 landed properties. 3. Whose account does the money stay for the 6months POF duration. Cos it has been in my dad's account this whole time. When he eventually sends it to me do I need to wait for another 4-6months before applying for visa? 3. My husband is being sponsored by his elder brother who also has all his funds ready too. What are the documents they need in preparation for his too. Thank you all |

Kattybaby1981:1. Well, a VO will not be wondering why a couple want to individually advance their professional careers. Instead you focus on convincing the vo why the master's is important to your professional careers a.d goals back in Nigeria. However, using your partner as home tie has been severely weakened here. So ensure there are other solid home and economic ties. Also, seeing that both of you recently graduated means your economic ties or financial establishment in your country wouldn't be seen as that Great. 2. Well, everything that has to show his earnings in his chamber as a legal practicioner. Evidence of payments of legal fees, invoices for commission earned on legal fees, his legal license, and many more. 3. Since he has the full funds and have held.it for 6 months, the best thing to do to demonstrate that the funds are genuinely available and accessible for you is to pay your tuition from his acct, then transfer your living expenses into your acct. You can decide to do GIC with the money in your acct to further demonstrate it's availability. No, you don't need to hold the money in your acct. All this can be done in the last week week before submission. The most important thing is providing sufficient docs to prove the funds held in your dad's acct are genuinely his and they are available and accessible which you would have proven by paying tuition from his acct and sending your living expenses to your acct. Bot your acct and your daddy will eventually be submitted in the application. 4. Documents depends on the nature of his business . And in both cases of sponsors, you have to prove relationship btw you and your dad and your hubby and his brother. This will be done by providing birth certificates of your hubby and his brother and their parents NIN, and your birth certificate accompanied with your dad's NIN for your own application. |

Kattybaby1981:Hello Kattybaby1981, I am also a prospective master's of public health student of Memorial - Fall 2025 admission. Although I am not a medical doctor; I am a Microbiologist. Have you been able to find out about job prospects in Newfoundland, cos I heard it's an isolated island and not much of economic activities? |

I will advise one person to apply first while the other apply for SOWP. This makes it easier as one will serve as home tie for the other. When one of you have gotten it, the other can also apply after getting a SOWP or visit visa as the case maybe. Applying concurrently will reduce your hometies but on a 2nd thought Canada is in need of those professionals so they might also let a weak hometie situation pass if your source of wealth is convincing. Jeboy:Ok. Thank you. We will also look into that. His primary sponsor (brother) doesn't have a birth certificate and his Affidavit does not have the parent's name cos those times they weren't doing birth certificate like that. Can he do a new one now and it won't matter? |
