everything God created was beautiful. But abuse and over indulgence of it. Meaning not having to do without it. One must get self involved at all time, by all means possible. Tis where the word “sin” is coined from. Sin is logical reasoning being made illogical (excessive). Common sense, not trying to make it common that will be seen as absurd.

Disobedience to the law is the definition of a sin. Abel or whatever he calls himself should allow people, cultures and tribes to define that for themselves.

Islamic culture says alcohol is a sin to them and if they accept it as their standard, so is it.

God applauded the Children of Recab for refusing to drink wine or strong drinks because their father instructed them to do so. God rewarded them for sticking the their conviction.

This Christian life is not about controversy, it is a life of orderliness and moderation.

Because God is that confused to tell us to use our tithe money, I mean tithe, to buy alcohol in Deut 14 vs 24-26. Which means dinking alcohol is not a sin.

So we should tear that potion of the bible that said the ate the forbidden fruit? .. I am becoming more confused about the bible as a result of listening to different people with different interpretation. I will read myself and ask the holy spirit to help me understand and the understanding I get is what I will follow....make everybody keep their understanding for themselves and those who cares...

I alway knew the " Apple " being reffered to in the bible that Adam and Eve ate was just figurative.

It's not figurative, it's real, it's different from the apple you consume but real.

The apple itself is a problem, don't listen to those saying it's not the problem, immediately after consuming it, their eyes well open, they now recognize their unclothedness and lying, pretense, blaming others, stubbornness, everything begin to show.

On the Adam and Eve part, he might be overreaching for the sheer fun of it...!

But, he isn't wrong about cigarettes. Same way you can't call hemp sinful.

That's why the Bible talks about moderation.

It's nothing but selective human indoctrination (Doctrines) to place a taboo on certain things claiming they are Divinely abhorrent yet no full scriptural evidence.

If we want to start placing a taboo on things, how do we allow consumption of snails, seafood, pork, etc, while 'haraming' weed, cigarettes, and alcohol?!!

What am I even saying... Don't some clergymen prohibit magazines and tv?
