Hello everyone, Please when submitting supporting docs, like doc to show landed properties do I have to make a photocopy or showing just the original suffices? |
| Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Ozeggy: 7:12pm On Dec 30, 2024 |
For bank statement, submit the original copy stamped by your bank. You can make and submit coloured photocopies of other supporting docs. Foxie: |

You’ll have to apply from Nigeria since you don’t have a Resident Permit in Canada. Aheadahead1: |
| Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by davodyguy: 5:58pm On Jan 04, 2025 |
Aheadahead1:If you're residency or stay in Canada will not be affected, return to Nigeria and apply via France |
| Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by davodyguy: 6:01pm On Jan 04, 2025 |
Ajalalomo:Since he actually used it, as against the earlier post by you that he was not going to travel and he did travel and returned back, then he can apply within 60 days but not later than 3 weeks to travel |

Modupe1981:Apply alone via France, put in a good package showing good statement of Account and your family and business as strong ties to Nigeria |

Hello house, please regarding the submission of both original and photocopy documents on the day of the appointment, will the original documents be returned to the applicant on the same day or at a later date? I’m asking because this concerns the submission of all original documents. |

Modupe1981:So sorry for the late response and Spanish Schengen visa refusal. I’m not familiar with their process but you may have a better chance with France. I think you should include a short cover letter along with supporting documents acknowledging the previous refusal and restating your travel plans (put a short list of 4-5 days itinerary with places you intend to visit) indicating your exit and entry date and stressing that you have a business to return to and you will not overstay your trip. I think this will help along with all supporting documents required (company docs, personal documents as well), hotel booking, flight booking, With these, and Gods grace (+ luck of getting a reasonable visa officer), you should be fine |

Slimbideb:Hello, happy new year. I’ve never submitted or taken original copies of any document with me except my international passport and bank statement (because what would I do with that amount of paper otherwise, besides there’s no need to make copies of that). I typically make colored photocopies of my documents (the originals) and submit. They’re usually so clear that the VFS Admin officers usually mistake them for originals. So that helps What visa process is asking for original copies? Is it for a tourist visa? And what Schengen state |
