You are the toddler. Under Malami as the AGF was the case finally resolved legally? If the present AGF wants the President to use his power to release him and he doesn't, Abaribe can move the motion at the National Assembly. The case hasn't gone beyond Senate. You should try to learn. Since you said the case is no longer in Court then, the Senate can debate it . There is nothing like an issue of national importance going beyond Senate except it is in the Court of Justice.
