If you supported BAT during his campaign, then you were a blind supporter. His manifesto had all the embedded details that his administration is executing today. BAT is doing a great job and only intelligent people will understand.
You are incurably diseased in your mind and spirit.

Rewane noted that the proposed tariff hike reflects investor confidence in the sector. “Yesterday, the price of MTN shares went up by 10 per cent to N220. Investors have already factored that in and are expecting a lot of good goodies,” he said.
The goodies for "investors" not the masses

It I got his first name, Bismack Rowane always postulate on some government economic policies from time to time. Most of his postulations to my mind are always faulty. How can you say the hike in communication tariffs will bring down inflation. How has fuel subsidy removed improved the economy? How has the hike in electricity tariff improved the economy and other such hikes in services? Sometimes I wonder whether if you are really painstaking in your research. Is it not better to be quite and not say anything than say something and be counted as anti people ie a member of AGIP ( ANY GOVERNMENT IN POWER). Ask yourself, how many Nigerians as at today do have a Personal Disposable Income after all the hefty taxes being heaved on some Nigerians that are on a pantry 70k per month by Tpain the tax collector financial advisers.

You are not thinking.... You mentioned he's not a stockbroker so can't influence anything.... And I mentioned yes he's not but you don't have to be stokebroker.... So since he's on the advisory side he's an intermediary.... And don't give us the bullshit cuz thsee fkers are all connected.... You should go back to sleep
If comprehension is your problem, why not blame your English teacher instead of me?

Where in my comment did I say '" because he is not a stockbroker, he cannot influence anything'"?

Where in my comment did I infer directly or indirectly that you MUST be a stockbroker before you can influence opinion on shares trading or movement or any economic direction or decision?

Get rid of the cells in your head that are pushing you to conjour what someone else has not said or imagined.

I hope this comment will send you into your hole of shame.

Please. Govt reckless borrowing and spending is what is spiking inflation in the country. You know it but wont say it because you benefit from it. These consultants are sometimes the problem. They wont say things as they are even though its obvious.

I never knew this Rewane is this dumb no wonder he is APC in house economist ,price increases will help ease inflation how
All hail our voodoo economist
I want to presume what he means is that increased tariff would reduce demand since it becomes more expensive however, I'm not sure people spend so much on telephone services. My annoyance is the way he said it sounds like the increased tariff on telecom services will make the spenders better.

Since the last week of last year, these mobile operators have been providing poor service, including serious Internet connectivity issues. I suppose it is their way of demonstrating to the government that they are serious about this increase.

Personally, I am not surprised because the moment the government removes subsidies in many areas (which we know we cannot afford again), we will undoubtedly begin paying the debts of those who have passed away. Lol. Who the heck do you expect to pay back all the debts?

Plus government is still looting steadily. Lol. It then places an extremely heavy burden on Nigerians. Of course, this is how it will be for a long time. The debts we accumulated from the early 1980s, when the military took over Nigeria, until now are enough to weigh us down. However, continuous looting is suicidal.

Nigeria's situation is unlikely to improve anytime soon. Yes, read my words again. Nigeria will not improve for many people; however, only a few will begin to grow. Two groups of people will become wealthy: politicians and anyone involved in business innovation, data, or oil-related activities.

Yes, credit facilities will become available soon, and they will be a trap for the majority of Nigerians. Most people borrow from paid apps and never pay back, as is customary in Nigeria. Lol. By the time the government introduces credit options, over 95% of Nigerians will be trapped and become slaves in their own country.

As I always advise, run and buy about 6 plots of land now in any location very close to development (maximum of 10 years, the area should be populated...not inside any bush), fence it in, install a borehole, build a small bungalow without furnishings (even a security house attached to the wall is acceptable), and begin growing your food there. Grow more than 80% of your food to save money and live longer.

Nigeria is not going to improve for many people anytime soon, but believe me, those involved in data, oil, and artificial intelligence will enjoy it.

Good luck to you all.

Yes, imagine data price has been static since 2013.
The increment is needed but the timing is wrong.

Anyway we have stocked at awoofconnect.com.ng
Even when the price is high, we will still be selling cheap.
