Hello Guys, my redmi note 12s got stolen and I now wish to buy another redmi phone. The redmi person who I discussed with doesn't rate redmi note 13 better than the redmi note 12s which is no longer in the market. The guy insist I wait but what is the probability that those phones coming out soon wont be more expensive? Which redmi phone can I buy at 250-260k or fairly above please? The note 12s was a machine I couldn't enjoy cos it got stolen just about 2 weeks after purchase.

Note 12s is better than the 13 but at that your price range you can only afford 13. Even if the next Redmi note devices come out, high chance is the note 12s will still be better than the note 14 so you can just go for the 13 if you must buy a brand new device.

I actually got note 12s for 265k early November 2024.. Some folks at computer village claim they still have it. Hope there is no fake of it. Note 13 has promo that reduces it to same 265k for 8g/128g. Note 12s is 8/256 though. Hope there is no fake of note 12s? I might just decide to look for it

Abeg go for note 13, I've seen the light and the Note 12s is not better though performance wise they're both very comparable.

Be sure what you're checking on antutu is not note 13 5G though

the global version releases was not the same version we were anticipating when it was released in china, and it was a big downgrade from the Chinese version.
The global version didn't come with 6000mah battery, the camera is total bullshit ( in 2025 phone company still using 2mp macro camera! WTF😒), and worse of it all, this piece of nonsense is been sold at 720k

I think of buying Xiaomi 14T but looking at the battery! You know phone companies now are embracing the silica carbon battery technology which has higher battery capacity and can still retain 80% of it strength at long term. This is an innovative technology so far!

That was what I was anticipating so far for the global release, I won't even mind the camera but they ommit the 6000mah and replace it with lithium ion
