Thats saying things as it trully is. Most of what i see is PR stunts. If you support a specific candidate, say why but dont and sugar salt and all kind of spices.

I'm actually okay with Chelle if we are going to be patient with him.

Odunayaw:
Tom Saintfiet that Joebie for example, wants. Is it not a blank record?

Pedro Goncalves? Whom I like. Is it not a blank record? Is it not the same QF at Afcon?

Tough January for Atalanta
They’ve started dropping points
We do need Orban prime in the Super Eagles

And we've not been saying why? The issue remains that some don't like our why.

Again, as far we are not getting Grade A proven winners opinions will remain subjective. Let no one gaslight anybody.

The criteria used in selecting the coach is flawed but when you look carefully like you said a very good pr has been put in place to sell the coach no matter what anybody thinks. We’ve been through this route before and one only hopes it doesn’t bite us too much in the end. Gracias!

1. I don't condone rescue missions. So I cannot look at Chelle from that lens i.e WC qualification.
2. Since I'm not looking from that lens, then I am thinking of an improvement in the team.
3. Chelle belongs to the class of young coaches in Africa that I admire. Especially from the last AFCON. No one will can put him down either on experience or quality of play.

I am quite sure this is something close to your rationale for Saintfiet. No?
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 7:08pm On Jan 11, 2025
My rationale for Saintfeit is simply his love for handling the Super Eagles which he has applied fir severally, and very likely his knowledge of our team that he must have heen following. I see there is a new PR attempt for Chelle that the Super Eagles has been deer to him since he was 12. May be true....

Back to Seinfeit, yes he is a blank slate as well, and he has not even managed teams at the level of the Mali national team but he has some experience with African national teams.

And if Chelle doesn't give us glory in the next AFCON, would we see it as a failure? I can see there is more expectation from him based on past AFCON. Let's not forget he is a young coach with limited experience. So we should keep our expectations realistic and be patient as he tracks his CV and hopefully achieves something new with us in the process.

On quality of play, we have seen that from some of our indigenous coaches. At the end of the day, it's the results that will matter

That's why one keep asking on what criteria was the selection based on. If na ambition even coach elyte on this thread, his ambition is well know to us 😆. This wayo from nff needs to be studied. Our senior national team don use style become entry level job.

It is when the major is exhausted that we can then look on the minor. Love for handling SE and the PR towards it is secondary to ability and experience.

I appreciate that you confirm they are both blank states. If Chelle don't give us the cup then we can compare him to predecessors. That is fine. They've done it to everyone, he is not special.

On quality of play. Yes results matter but it is a worry that it seems that after they leave the team descends into disarray.

As far as NFF is not hiring Grade A coaches, the criteria will keep being subjective regardless of the name or country of the coach. Gaskiya

It will be a good move for him but right now, there is nothing special about PSG.
They are just a good team in France and Kvara won't make any difference
